just starting to pick it up again after letting the RR slide way too much... we should still approach 350 with this platform. Hopefully these guys make the runs cuz I'm playing 5 bowlers and my keeper/batsman and as such I've got less depth batting than usual.

Just got a message from Sri Lanka's U-19 manager showing interest in my YP from a month ago. He's 17 y.o. with 7,500 BT rating and has been improving about 1,000 rating points per week.

they don't have an owner anymore, not sure if its a bot run team now with all his old players still on it. weird. his entire sqaud is at worthless form.Abandoned teams maintain their default lineup. Unowned teams get forced to worthless form, probably as BT's answer to HT's lineup resets -- having them in worthless form will usually keep them from winning anything, although one of the bots had a surprisingly good cup run.

After the rough start, Norse's middle-over bowlers settled in and wound up bowling the opposition out for a makeable target at 222-10. The chase is ahead of pace at the moment, but we're a little thin right now with both the second and third batsmen in the lineup falling quickly. I'd like to have a little more cushion there. Also, we're getting into the heart of the bowling lineup, so things could get interesting quickly if a couple of quick wickets are taken.

I can't say I've got them where I want them, but if they don't score above 5.5 for another 5-10 overs its pretty much lights out for them, whether they lose wickets or not.
End of Over 18: 95-0, runrate=5.28, reqrunrate=7.66 (339-2)
question... say I win this match 339/2 to 250 all out... how is my NRR for this fixture calculated?
my RR was 6.78 and there's is effectively 4 my net would be 2.78? and that's added to my previous NRR???

I've got them lassoed now despite my yp giving up 6 an over...
End of Over 24: 118-0, runrate=4.92, reqrunrate=8.54 (339-2)
its now pretty much over.

so close, i had them below the req RR at one point. With the last 10 overs coming up I don't think there is anyway I can win this match. They are going to start racking up the runs very fast. It'll be a miracle if I can bowl them out.
i just love when the strong batsman falls for 6 runs while playing GFI

If he's only averaging 6, he's falling behind as your pace was 7.
Right, but you know how they speed up towards the end.
Anyway I did manage to win. :D

Well I need to do something about my runrate. Check out the promotion tables for IV in England. I am the very last team on the auto promotion line.
I am nervously looking over my shoulder at the teams behind me. Next week should be an easy win so I am looking to put a strong batting line up out, win the toss, put up a huge score and skittle him out.
That's the plan anyway.

Crap, I lost by two runs. Now, I need another team to beat these guys in a few weeks, and for me to beat that team (which happened the last go-around). Then I'll need some help from the Net RR to get into first place.

my RR was 6.78 and there's is effectively 4 my net would be 2.78? and that's added to my previous NRR???Your NRR in this match would actually be +1.78 -- 250 runs scored for them divided by 50 overs is a run rate of 5.00. I assume that, as was speculated, the NRR of individual matches is summed, it seems like it would produce the best result (weighting the NRR contribution from each match equally).

And in the promotion tables in the Windies... 3/4 of the teams haven't lost a match yet. Norse is atop the table of the one-loss clubs (with a 1 NRR edge on our series mates for the series lead), but we need five other first place clubs to lose a match in order to avoid a qualifier. I can't really say I would mind having to qualify, though.

With the ratings you put up, I can't see you having any problems in the qualifier.

Won my match by 9 wickets...
Would like your opinion regarding my match vs. the #1... should I go for it?
I'm hesitating becuase even if I do win, I expect him to win out. What's your $.02?

play normal. he hasn't been online in months!!!
he has abysmal spin bowling, so if you have any spinners make your pitch dusty and you should rack up a high score.
