i was training my all rounder with 2 fitness nets and his conc/consis didn't move at all.

I would assume that similar issues to HT would apply -- your clock should be synchronized to a time-server, and you need to be wary of any on-page clock losing time in certain circumstances.

It's okay. I landed two better players last night that should be a real boon to my team. I watched 'em like a friggin' hawk.

i was real close to the max i was willing to spend on that player so I had to wake up and early and make sure I got him. it was a friday and i was off of work so I just went back to sleep. i even got in a bidding war with someone right at the last minute, but I got the player.

I've done that for HT, but never for BT. Actually, I've never bought a player in BT.

Undertaken my second stadium expansion in the past two weeks. One was done to take advantage of my cup run, the second was needed since I'm selling out now in my league play. Need that income. Would like to upgrade my team, but got to spend money to make money.

that's odd. I don't frequent the transfer market, but I've spent quite a bit there. Around 1.4M on 3 players. Yeah, sounds silly, but I made a profit on one of the players I did. I've also sold a shitload of players so I'm probably only at -600K net, if that much.

Part of the reason I'm not splashing cash is that I'm concerned about where Seargeant's salary is going to go. The rest is that I'd need pretty good players to make an upgrade now... minimum proficient primary, but I'd probably prefer strong.

That's becoming my problem as well; I can't just swoop on some cheapie and have him contribute anymore. I just landed a strong wicketkeeper and competent is becoming the low end of the norm for primaries for me. Now I have to start fighting for the same bone twelve other dogs want instead of contentedly picking at the edges.

My last purchase was a 915K allrounder... maybe over paid just a shade but he's a strong bat proficient bowler as an allrounder. my purchase before him was another allrounder who was at the time my best bowler and second best batsman. I suppose I could have held out on him, but I sold him at a profit and I'm relatively confident I wouldn't have done as well as I've done without the purchases? I guess Seargeant's salary is a reason... but honestly, if you've got to save money to pay for a player he's doing you very little good. Sell him and then buy 2 or 3 players to replace him.

For the time being, I'm more interested in maxing out a top 10 player in the world than I am in maxing out my team's performance (which is already pretty damn good). That may change in the future, of course.

I'm not as into this game as I am with Hattrick, and I don't use any program to track player performances/pops, so I have one trainee who's a med/med bowler and abys/worthless in everything else, and I have him using seven nets. He's training with everything except wicketkeeping, but if I get bored this week (and I think I will be) he's gonna get a net of that as well. I just wanna see what happens.

to each his own. And its not like I'm not trying to get that great player either, but I'm just not willing to do it at the expense of the team. My wonderkid is on 3 nets and he'll get another one off and on, but no more than that.

Until first-class matches come in, I think competent is good enough to keep even an all-arounder near sublime. National teamers will want a little more; I think I needed proficient stamina on Seargeant before I started making inroads on his fitness.

Forgive me; I started playing this game as a way to learn more about cricket. First class as in over multiple days? How many overs is that? Are these going to be national team games or league games?

yeah, 4 day matches. i think they will be 3 days in battrick. there are 3 2 hour sessions during each day. amount of overs varies, you just play until time runs out or one team wins. if you reach the end of the last day and there is no winner the game is a draw.


i got my two best bowlers to remarkable consistency!
