3. If you could give some advice to your team’s coach before the match, what would it be?
Monty (NE): Just win the game. He knows what he’s doing, he doesn’t need any advice from me!
Soccer Doc? Is that you??? :D

Oh c'mon ... if you're going to pick an answer of mine, I'd like think there might be one or two more that were a bit better. ;)

I can't find the audio, but Bill Littlefield has had Revs coverage on WBUR both yesterday and this AM. Yesterday included a typically incomprehensible interview with Steve Nicol and focused on the team's success and prospects for winning the cup. Today's story was about the contrast in likely response to the Revs winning vs. the Sox or Pats. The message was that it reflected lack of appreciation by the broad fan base which was their loss. He went on to contrast the fan experience at the stadium -- fellow fans, parking, level of alcohol-induced dysfunction -- between the Revs and others. (Sounds like he wasn't in the Fort. :) ) Positive coverage in both stories.

lol...i found this amusing. although i would replace the last one with "we will hear some more of Landycakes incessant whining." boo fricken hoo.
As someone said earlier in the thread "its funny because its true." :D
"Before I pick a winner, let me make a few other predictions for Sunday:
-Some fans online will announce that soccer is doomed in America because people weren't sitting in each and every seat during every second of the match.
-Austin Powers will make Paul Mariner give him his glasses back.
-No one will understand a word Steve Nicol says in the Coach's Corner interview.
-Eric Wynalda will remind us why Taylor Twellman needs to be on the national team.
-We might hear about Landon Donovan's girlfriend and his new house."

I've just thought of a new rallying cry for the match...
"Make Bianca cry."

Do you really think thats funny?
What he discribing is Alcoholism and saying that Boston fans are Alcoholic.
Some Riders like to have a few but the games the focus--not the booz----thats having fun. Alcoholism is as much fun as lung cancer.
IMO to tag Rev fans the way he's done is an insult even if said in jest.

Yes, actually I do think its funny.
And yes, I also know that I don't think I've seen anyone of us head into the games drunk.
But it is still funny. :D

lockerroom material.
i think parkhurs, hernandez & joseph need to end the myth that is the million dollar baby.
if those guys dominate (as they should), only time the million dollar baby touches the ball is to pick it out of the back of the net.
