Who were/are the best dribblers among players 6' (180 cm) or taller? I would include Zidane (also, thanks to Dominican Lou for posting that Google video link).

The ironic thing about this is that if you look at nearly all the best dribblers in the world today they are all 6ft and above. The small artist types are becoming increasingly rare.
All these players hit 6ft or just an inch or two under:
Ronaldo
Ronaldinho
Henry
C.Ronaldo
Zlatan
Kaka
Adriano
Zidane
---
You wont find many dribblers under 6ft that can match that lot except Robinho, Denilson and maybe Messi.

ok... was just wondering... I like Kaka, he's talented and direct, but to see him and Zlatan in the list w/out Cristiano made me scratch my head.

You are joking, right? Ronaldhino is not 6 feet tall--not even
close. And I'm almost certain Kaka and Zidane are under 6 feet.
You've given the World Wrestling Federation's idea of stats--
a guy who's 280 pounds becomes "The 400 LBS Killer," etc.
You want short dribblers? How about Riquelme, Cassano,
Rooney, Tevez, Messi, Deco, Camoranesi, Cole ......... No,
not a dying breed. In fact there are more of them, far more,
than tall dribblers, dribblers who are 6 feet and over.

Ok stop... Camoranesi is a very skilled player but u didn't just stick in that list... lol...
Rooney's not short though, he's like 5'9'' or 5'10'' so he's not the 5'6'' "little magician" that was so common in yesteryear.

No.

Ronaldinho is listed as 5'11-6ft on every website I've seen. Find me proof to the contrary.
And I'm almost certain Kaka and Zidane are under 6 feet.
... Zidane is 6ft2 and Kaka' is 6ft
You've given the World Wrestling Federation's idea of stats--

Seems to me more like you're undersizing players. How could you possibly think Zidane is under 6ft?
You want short dribblers? How about Riquelme, Cassano,
Rooney, Tevez, Messi, Deco, Camoranesi, Cole .........
And how many of those are of the quality I just mentioned, which was the point. Also How do you have Camoranesi and Deco listed as dribblers? I already mentioned Messi. Primarily all the others are not dribble first players either... Cassano, Tevez and Cole yes.. Rooney does not dribble as often as the players mentioned who are at 6ft or thereabouts.
No,
not a dying breed. In fact there are more of them, far more,
than tall dribblers, dribblers who are 6 feet and over.
So you think your list of dribblers is comparable to mine.....? take it back 10yrs and the players under 6ft would have a huge gulf in class over the taller ones for dribbling. So yes, clearly a dying breed.
