Whats happened to this place?

Why has this place gone so dull and never get any new boot pics? I always used to come here but now its so quite and no one is ever here. I go to soccerpulse and pds, soccer.com because this place has gone so downhill. Where are all the exclusives guys? I want to fix this place up.

I had sample pics of some of the new Predator line and a member here took advantage of the pics to make money on eBay. Consequently, people here got really pissed at him and Adidas found out what I was doing and I got in a big heap of trouble. From then on, I haven't been saying much about the new line here. I guess a lot of the other boot guys moved on too. Dissapointing really, Soccer Pulse is full of little boys and its terribly hard to find good, clear information. This is better than SP, IMO.

I think its ok just we are getting new members everyday that are coving old ground and stuff like 'how do we clean certain boots' and stuff. And 'what boots should i get?' but i guess topics get repeated after a while.

Maybe there havent been any pictures of new boots because there arent any new boots or promos out at the minute people just need to be patient.

No offence to any moderators, but i believe the problem arose when JC left and gave up his position as a mod.

JC had a passion for this particular topic. The current mods are simply not seen around here. It is not because they are bad, it is just that they are not interested in this subject. :)

I still enjoy coming here. It is particularly nice to have top notch, regular posters like Darren, Apple, OldUSKeeper, Adikeeper, jc, Zhiyi, Matt, etc....

I remember htafc posting ALOT here. What happened? :confused:

Thanks man that means a lot. I wanted to come back but I was "frozen out" so to speak by the current adminstration when I tried to return.

I am sad to see that this place has gone downhill as well, I pushed for this fourm to be created so boot junkies had a place to talk and it just seems like it's really slumped because of the ebay situation and the lull in boots being released. Maybe the fact that between Dec. and May about 7 new boots or colorways will be launched will spice things up in here.

There was a poll, in which JC was almost unanimously voted to become a moderator again. However he sorta got ignored.

I can't see how such a great mod, who left for sad serious reasons, can't get his position back? I'm not gonna cause trouble though...this place has been good to me. :)

I totally agree, I was just thinking how different this place is in just the year i've been posting. I think we all miss JC!!

I kind of got ripped for making it by NSA the newer mod here when my only intention was to see if I was even wanted back by the people who matter on these boards, you the memebers.

It's all good though, I just got offered a mod sopt at another soccer baord and I think I am going to take it and fix that place up a bit. I am not going to say which place it is until I am doing it but I think eveyone can figure it out for themselves where it will be.

Again it means a lot to me that most everyone here has been so kind and respected what I tried to do as a mod.

Its up to you bro. I was mad about it at first but I am over it. I would come back here and mod before going anyplace else if it was offered that is for sure. I pushed to have this fourm created so I kind of look at it as my own place thats why I took pride in being the mod.

If you want to say something and you think it will carry some weight then rock the boat a bit and see what happens, it's not like they are going to red card us for giving an opinion.
