Just saw King Kong...Naomi Watts loved the giant ape almost as much as Peter Jackson loves himself. Graphic content was off the charts. The monkey was straight up gangster.
Almost couldnt get over the captain of the dingy which floated to skull island. Dennis Berkampf doppleganger

I saw the Chronicles of Narnia yesterday. It was pretty good. :)

Along those lines, I'll highly recommend the documentary Michael Palin: Himalaya. Yep, the guy from Monty Python. Several of his travel documentaries are great, but this one is the best.
I'll have to take a look at that one. I enjoyed Pole to Pole.

I'm debating starting a new thread about this but if a mod deems it ok then we can do that...
What's the funniest character in any film that you've seen?
The guy with the somewhat Trinidadian accent in 40yo virgin is hillarious. He's always angry and he reminds me of myself in the way he can be WAY over the top one minute and cool the next... :D

Off the top of my head, either Randall from Clerks, or Dr. Strangelove from... well, take a guess.

Just saw King Kong...Naomi Watts loved the giant ape almost as much as Peter Jackson loves himself.Yeah I know, talk about destroying important original content... I don't like the looks of this movie at all; Brokeback Mountain and Tommy Lee Jones' movie are both looking far more attractive at the moment.
EDIT: Wow, that might just be the greatest gay pun I've seen all year. :o

Overall, I thought that movie was HIGHLY overrated. But parts of it were funny, including this guy. I know people like him.

Captain Jack Sparrow.
BTW, I saw previews for POTC 2...it looks awesome. Of course, having Keira Knightley in a movie doesn't hurt.

Captain Jack Sparrow.
I second that. There are better/funnier movies, but Depp is just hillarious in Pirates.

Sparrow is pretty good, but.
My two picks (sorry I'm a fanboy) are
Rocco from Boondock Saints (you want it 8 times and tell me he is not comic gold).
And Ron Burgundy (I know it is crappy, in-your-face immature humor but that movie never gets old)
On that note I have discovered something, if you watch a movie first when you are inebriated, it will never get old and be one of your favorite movies for a while, I think.

Off the top of my head, either Randall from Clerks,
We have a definite winner....
The scene in the video store when he's oredering all the porn movies is awesome....

I completely agree with Rocco (If you havent seen the movie see it you will love it!!!!). But one of my altime favorites is Wayne Cambel off of Wayne's world. I know it is a dumb movie but what can i say; I am a fan of the ninetys!

Beanie (Vince Vaughn) from Old School is Comic Genius... It's the little things he says and does in that movie that kill me...
