Does anyone else follow this team? or em i the only one? i know they are regionalliga team but i do rember when they played in rge Bundesliga.

What ever happend to them? do they play all their home games at LTU arena?

I do follow them, actually after Bayern Fortuna is one of my favorites.. so sad they play in the regionalliga, they play their games in the LTU Arena, last time they had 7311 spectators, not too bad

ya i seen they had 18 000 or so one game. i also follow them. they arent doing to badly now. i hope they start wining and get promoted.

I haven’t seen them playing since that friendly against Bayern when they opened the LTU and lost 5-1. I am not sure what is lacking except the quality of the squad, don’t know the management don’t want or simply can’t afford to spend some money for some players. Nice city, new stadium and it is used by NFL Europe team??.. I really hoped they will push for promotion into 2BL, but in the beginning of the season they were at the drop zone …

yea they started very bad... it will be hard to catch Kiel, Essen, Luebeck, St Pauli, Jena

It seems like since they signed Marcus Feinbier from Fürth that things have been going better for them.

Is there any team in the state of Northrhine-Westphalia you do NOT follow? Would be probably easier to list those for you ;).

And I don't know what I would consider to be more realistic: Fortuna Düsseldorf getting promoted or MSV Duisburg winning the German championship this year...

they might not get promoted this year but maybe next year.

Such a nice stadium they have and nice city like you said. i will be there in 1 month :)

hmmm....i find it strange how many people here can support multiple teams- not that its bad- but i was raised to have passion for only one club. come rain or shine, through thick and thin...you might hate them at times but you are to never leave them. i'm getting teary eyed now :rolleyes:

You are right, I would never leave my team “come rain or shine, through thick and thin”, but you still have simpaty for another team even if you don’t support them.

ya same here since i was like 5 i have been going to monchengladbach games regulary. we started going to almost every game.

They are my favorite team but i follow aachen because i was born there and schalke because i just liek them i guess. not my favorite but i follow them if i can.
