Actually, nous allons aller is more "we are going to go" like you will be going in the near future. If you really want we will go, you should say "nous irons".

This is a great thread even if it's not soccer related. I like talknig about the different ways languages go. As you guys were saying, in Québec some old French are still used. Such as the word "indispendieux". In France you would hear "pas cher". It turns out the word "indispendieux" was used in France at the time that Québec was settled by the French in the 1600's 1700's and it has since become an obsolete word in France.

A friend of mine went to France from Québec and people wouldn't understand that word.

Aulas says there were tensions around the Lyon Brazilian group. Fred was sad to be separated from his family; Juninho and Caçapa are worry about their future in the team; they didn't thought "team" in the last weeks. The Brazilians accused Carew to not being available daily.

when i read this, here's how i pictured it: the brazilians didn't think carew gave 100% in matches or practice. (for info, i once saw houllier chew him out for pretty much that, going half speed in a 6v6)... whether their opinion was expressed directly to aulas (doubtful, even impossible), was elicited by the staff, or simply came through the grapevine i don't know. in any case it's perfectly normal that the opinion of the last two captains have some consideration.

Judging by his tone, I think not.first of all, thanks for the article: i had already read most of it in bits and pieces reported elsewhere, and rather faithfully too (not so surprising perhaps: even the most sensational journalist would think twice and thrice before misquoting JMA!), but this seems to be the complete and original interview.

i don't sense any annoyance, rather an acceptance that people are human with human foibles. the only lashing words are for fred, but the sting is taken out when he points out how well he's doing now that his personal problems are resolved.

in any case, as JMA suggests himself, the current between him and the brazilians runs through nanar and sonny. the day there are any real problems, that's the fuse that's going to pop.
