Les would be a stopgap just to prevent relegation. He's old and slow and while has the skills would contribute nothing in the long term as he probably would retire next year.

How about a swoop for Brian McBride? He's kicking ass at Everton but when Campbell and Radinski (sp?) return he will be riding the bench.

I don't think we can get McBride, two transfers, etc.
Plus if he keeps banging them in, he's got a job at Everton.

Being a Hammer I was in my usual surly mood and this did not change it. No mention of the crap red card on Lomas this past weekend but in this stellar gallery its practically an afterthought.

Patently obvious, that he cannot hurt.

my thoughts exactly. (I guess that's what "patently obvious" means)

Nothing has changed in a week.

We still suck.

We suck

we have a Greek defender in the squad who couldn't get a game for a team in the Greek league. Sounds like another winner.

Also Alpay is reportedly interested in leaving Villa, same colors should make it easy for him.

Repka is back - God help us.

Breen is reportedly out. Also the Sun reported that the team had a clear the air session, and Joe Cole told the boys "If you don't want to play, then F*** OFF!".

That's a captain.

Could not get a start in the Greek League?

Oh yeah, that is what we need.

Cole is a stud.

Paolo back for tomorrow, I beleive. Any miracles left?

If the guy can't play in Greece - he's not going to star in England.

Bums, we are looking at bums.

With both Bolton and Sunderland losing at home we still got a chance.

I just got my spurs tickets today and I'm bringing my lucky hat. Just hope its not too late by then.

I almost think that all the supporters believe we can still do it ... but based on the play of some of the players, that they dont believe that they can do it.

inthe meeting where Joe Cole lost it, Breen reportedly said "I'm not up to the EPL - I suck"

Everyone cheered.

Are you sure it wasn't Roeder who said it? He should have. It's true. :)

I don't think that needed to be publicly expressed. They all know he isn't up to it.
