Not me I'm pleased to say. I don't think it would be fair to name names, the person in question would be as popular as Hugh Dallas aftzer a contraversial Old Firm game ;)

No. Not even to wind up Celtic fans.
Maybe we should have a supplementary question:
Is it ever acceptable to wear Oirland shirts?

If they want to look silly!
They are allowed to wear kilts though. My English mate just got one for his wedding the other day!

You'd think the name 'Nigel' was punishment enough. :)

That's for Englishmen to answer, not Scots.

It depends on the situation and, of course there is a slight deiiference between a Scot and a Scotland fan.
I'm Scottish and support Scotland and would never want to wear an England shirt but it's not as though I would bitch about it if I had to (say to play a game).
It is unacceptable for Scots to go around supporting England/wearing England tops becuse they support Rangers, if that's what you were getting at.

Not a big international football fan, but I don't see why you cannot wear the shirt that takes your fancy.
"Absolutely, we are all part of the British Isles" although I would have said absolutely who cares

England fans can wear whatever they choose, even in Scotland.
Odious huns who are doing it for reasons of bigotry, again, can do it, if only to warn the rest of us of who they are, like when lepers used to have to ring a bell.

I hate seeing football tops of any sort worn outside of the context of football.
That's because I have a sense of fashion :p
But whilst watching or playing, well thats different, and I find anyone who wants to wear a top from outwith their country a tad strange, whether that be brazil, belgium or england.

I've also never understood this want to wear a nation's jersey that's not your own. Same goes for club shirts for that matter, I think it's because it's not my kind of fashion either i.e. i'm not a ned :D. I have a Scotland top and a Morton top, no need for anything else.
I can't stand all these Rangers fans in England tops, gloryhunting wee pricks

Guess I wouldn't make your friends list as I do both where my fashionably hoops Jersey to the office on friday's. I also live in the states however I do not own a US jersey but I do own an Ireland and Scotland Jersey. :)
