My Revs lost to the Gals and I'm coming down from my drunken depressed state and can't believe their season is over without a piece of silverware. :(
that's why the MLS playoff system sucks. the best team doesnt get any recognition, the luckiest team gets to call itself "champions"
they should just reorganize the divisions, have one national table, and a separate cup competition. the way it's done in the rest of the world.

I think MLS will get there eventually. We're slowly recognizing that American sporting traditions (i.e. playoffs) don't have to be applied to MLS since its still a new league. Hell, I think hockey and basketball should do the same thing but their leagues are so old (and the Stanley Cup is so old) you'd never get them to change.
