Good news, good news, good news!!!!!!

So, a friend of mine bought a house and was looking for a roommate. She asked me, but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get out of my lease until 3/31/06.

I figured I could go ahead and try anyway, so I sent a letter in explaining the situation and that I wanted to be out as close to 12/1/05 as possible.

I got a reponse yesterday, and the whole first page is explaining that the request has been denied, as it didn't meet any of the criteria in the Landlord/Tenent agreement.

As I continued to read, my mind raced, trying to figure out what the hell I was going to do.

That's when I got to the second to last paragraph of the letter:

"You are responsible for rent payments for the duration of your lease agreement, which expires on 12/31/05!!!!!!!!

YEAH, BIATCH!!!!!

It's in Wilmington, one block from Rockford Park (which is Wilmington's version of Central Park.) Most of the homes there are all huge mansion-type places, but this one block is made up of really cool rowhomes. I'll be living in one of them. I'm actually living with two girls, with only one bathroom. Should be interesting! :p

I feel your pain. We've got 3 new services rolling out on 11/15, and I'm only 75% complete on my portion due to some technical holdups. Looks like I'll be working over the weekend. :(

With all this computer talk, any tips on getting a new laptop? I want cheap, cheap, cheap! Of course it does need built in wireless card. :) I am a big soccer whore. Other than being quick on the net, though, my needs are extremely basic.

I swear w/o my laptop, I feel like I've lost an appendage. It's almost like your house burning down or something. You had everything arranged just where you wanted it...then BAM it's gone. Not to mention that it completely makes class suck when I can't get online.
