Just thank my official tour photographer Sean! He is in literally 3 or 4 of the gozillion pictures that were taken on the trip......
I think there are more pics of me and Steph than of Sean and Steph! ;) :D

I know, I know. We flew in to Houston late on Monday then made our way back to CCTX yesterday. It has been hectic here today and I need to get back to the 10,000 fires I need to put out. :(

John, glad you made it back alive after the lockdown at the T-Bird! Great hanging out with you!
That was brutal, you got out just in time. I tried to leave about 6 times, everytime i got up, Rick would say "You're not going anywhere, Mate. Go have another drink." In my weakened state, this sounded like a good idea every time. If they hadn't kicked us out we would have been there until noon.

Man you guys that can drink all day and all night are amazing to me-even at my "best" during college, I still had to choose whether I was going to drink during the day or at night...........
I overserved myself 1 night on the trip and paid for it dearly the next day......

I usually limit myself to drinking after 10 at night. There's only so much damage you can do in 4 hours. The day of the Spurs match and the Sparta match were exceptions. I got to the TBird around 6, and except for the two hours of the match, was there until three. I still feel hung over... although that might be because i had a little welcome home party last night. :)

The secret is training (some call it building up tolerance) and the ability to pace your drinking. I think my personal record is approximately 21 hours of straigth drinking. I didn't do much the day after though.

Unless I want a visit from DFACS building up tolerance is completely out of the question........ :D

I recommend at least 4-5 a night starting now......I noticed a lot of the guys drinking mixed drinks too. So it you aren't that big of a beer drinker, there is always liquor...... :D

mixed drink of choice is any whisk(e)y with Coke. people kept buying me shots of Jameson at the Globe for my birthday party. its not bad, but they were double shots, which ended up hurting later.

that's better than double shots of warm Montezuma Tequila that I got on my birthday..

two stories about me and crown. both happened my senior year in college.
#1 - my friend matt and i had turned in our senior papers (history, 30ish pages) and were so glad to be done we decided to drink on a tuesday night. On this night a date auction for charity was being held, and run by my fraternity. the only booze at my apartment is a fifth of crown. So we take these big plastic cups, split the bottle of crown between the two, and fill the rest with Coke and head to the date auction. It was so much fun. My friend Matt gets hungry when he drinks crown, and we had no food, so he started eating his plastic cup. It wasn't a Solo cup either, it was a heavy duty plastic cup.
#2 - Senior Formal in St Charles, IL (outside Chicago). Me and 3 friends decide to drive up real early and golf at the course that is part of the hotel where the dance was. We drink the whole time (teed off at 9:30 AM), then go to a sports bar to eat and drink more. Then we meet our dates at the hotel (they went shopping and to a movie while we where golfing) and drink in our room and by the pool. It was April, but it was 80 degrees and sunny! I brought a fifth of Crown for my pre-dance drinking. I also brought a flask so I could use that and just get Cokes from the bar at the dance. So the dance is over and I go back to my room (midnightish). My buddy Matt, from story #1, is sleeping or trying to fall asleep with his date (now his fiance) and I see my fifth of crown with about a half of a shot left. I start asking ,"Who drank all my Crown?". Matt's response is, "you did, you jackass, now go to sleep."
