Great news and very well deserved. The only problem I see is the fact that Wayne Bridge has been selected, and I bet he'll be above Konch in the pecking order - which is par for the course for Eriksson, given that he's been injured for ages and has hardly played this year. Konch of course has played every game and is arguably our best and most consistent player this season.

And with Ashley Cole to come back, I'd be surprised if Konch will get a regular call-up unless Bridge has a butt-end of a season. Anyone else think he's got a hope in hell?

SGE doesn't seem like much of a risk taker, so I would have to say PK has every chance of making the World Cup, as long as he keeps playing as well as he has been. SGE has watched us a few times this year so its got to be an educated decision. Heres hoping anyway.
