His control and timing fits close to perfect every time. If I were watching him
in action first hand at training I'd probably scream like a little girl too :D

If you were referring to me I have seen many games of Ronaldinho and watched clips of his tricks.

I wasn't really talking to anyone in specific.

Ronaldinho does that kind of stuff with professional defenders, not just average joes...:)

i dont think that domicain Lou was trying to say that Zidane is better than Ronaldinho, just showning a harmless little video shocasing some of Zidanes classy skills,no need to get all snooty about it

Yea. Besides, at both their primes I think Zidane is better. That's a bold statement huh.

As great as Ronaldinho is, he's all speed and quickness.

Zidane isn't fast at all yet he still manages to make defenders look silly. To me, that's a little more impressive. This is also why I really admire Riquelme.

Plus he looks like he's not even trying.

Zidane of a few years ago is better than Ronaldinho of today.

Bold statement indeed. I would have to agree with you on that one.

lou you really need to watch more of ronaldinho... his ball control is actually better than zidane in his prime

i am of the opposite viewpoint. it is harder to do those moves that ronaldinho does when you are moving at full speed at the same time. doing it while standing still is much easier...

you overrate ronaldinho abit too much. zidane at his prime, was magical on a consistent level. besides ronaldinho hasn't exactly lived up to the standards he set himself in this second season at barca. so to compare the two at their primes, i would say zidane was alot better.

Flashier does not mean better. Zidane's close control of the ball is as good as any player's in the past 15 years. He didn't do umpteen step overs or trick dribbles, because he never needed to. Ronaldinho has a ways to go before we start calling him better than Zidane.

zidane at his prime was a bit overrated imo, great player but still overrated

anyone who regularly saw zidane at juve or real wouldn't in his right mind claim that he was magical on a consistant level. he had several off games even when he was at his peak. and his performance in wc1998 was not nearly as great as people make it out to be. he had only one good match and that was against an underperforming brazilian side in the final. up to the final he hadn't made a single goal or a single assist and hadn't thuram and the defence saved france in the quarter and semifinals he wouldn't even have played the final

when a great player is nearing the end of his career people tend be a bit nostalgic and as a concequence overrate the player. quite logical since people remember his good games but have forgotten his bad performances. that is the case with zidane right now

and besides the double stepover was together with the roulette his trademark move ;)

LOL, every player has bad performances. That doesen't mean he wasn't consistent.

when zidane was at the same age as ronaldinho is now (back in 1997) he was even less consistant for juve than what ronaldinho has been at barca so far
