We'll know later today if we're the opening game or not, so you won't have to worry about buying 3 group tickets plus the opening game.

For those of us that have the FIFA USA TST's 4-7...
Not to be a pessimist or anything but...
I've heard that if we're eliminated in the group stage that our tickets change to the group winner and I've heard that they change to the team that knocked us out(runner-up?)
Does anybody know for sure which it is

From my understanding you just get a refund if the USA doesn't make it to the knock-out stages.

Sorry I tried find this info, and just can't locate it. Neither my wife nor I have our passports yet. When I got tickets through FIFA I entered my Driver's License in the passport section and they accepted it and charged me for the tickets. Should I do the same thing with the order form for the US soccer Fed or should I use my SSN???
Also, I am a little worried about faxing my request to them and getting a confirm back saying they got it, but then they actually didn't (happens at work all the time). Can you fax and FedEx the app?
Sorry I'm a little slow today and hugely paranoid that I won't be able to get tickets to see the US.

No...I got my TST's from FIFA. Those TST's carry over to either the group winner or runner-up if the USA is eliminated at any point....
The TST's that the USSF are offering on Monday are "conditional" tickets.....Those are the ones that you'll get a refund...
I'm just looking for which team our USA TST's will be changed to if the USA doesn't advance out of the group stage....

All right, I have looked a couple of places and not seen an answer to the following situation:
As of Monday at noon we will have three options, all open at the same time, for buying tickets:
1. FIFA's 'Conditional Ticket' offer that we entered
2. USSF's ticket offer
3. FIFA's third round of ticket offers
How do we not 'oversubscribe' to a game or to the total number of tickets, without getting into trouble?
I have asked this question of FIFA, but wondered if this has already been determined here.

OK, I've answered my own question relative to 2 and 3...now the question is how #1 plays into it.
In case others are interested...way back in this thread (reading is good!) someone mentioned that the FIFA third round is a lottery that doesn't close until January 15th. Hence, we will know about the USSF order by then. I guess it just means that I should apply for no more than six games to avoid running into my Conditional order..which really shouldn't be a big issue.

My dad's passport expired last month, so his renewal won't come for a couple of weeks. Does the passport number have to be current in order for the order to be processed? In other words, can I still use his passport to get a ticket, or will my order be denied because his passport is not current?

Can this be done with my one access to the ussoccerfan.com tickets?
2 of us (myself and one son) for US-Italy
5 of us (myself, wife, 3 sons) for US-Ghana
3 of us (myself and two sons) for the Round of 16 match
3 of us (myself and two sons) for the Quarterfinal

I had the same problem, not realizing my passport had expired until too late (I sent it in about a week and a half ago with expedited service, though, and was able to call and get my new #, so thats gravy.)
Anyway, I emailed USSF before I knew my new number, and this is the relevant part of the reply I got:
However, if you are in possession of a passport that is either
currently expired or will expire before July 9, 2006 please provide the number of the expired passport on your order form. When completing your order form
with an expired passport you must note that the passport number listed
is or will be expired by July of 2006 and that you are in the process of getting it renewed. You will be required to provide US Soccer with an updated passport number before Monday, January 30 otherwise your order will become invalid and any tickets you had been allocated will be reallocated. New passport numbers will need to be submitted in writing (via fax or mail) by 12 noon CT on January 30, 2006. When submitting a new passport number you will be required to provide *_all_* of the following information:
- Full Name
- Order Confirmation Number (this will be given by US Soccer with
confirmation of the receipt of your order form)
- Old Passport Number
- New Passport Number
- Signature of Passport Holder

a friend and i are going to be in germany from june 10th to the 18th (got tickets to a random in stuttgart that we learned will be the netherlands vs. ivory coast). we're both diehard USMNT supporters/sam's army members but we didn't have the foresight to register on the darned USSF site before they froze new applications. any good hearted soles applying for tickets on monday who could put two others on their application for the czech rep and/or italy games? i can email you all the necessary information. reply or email me at chupacabras351@hotmail.com.
what better way to guarantee yourself free beer and brats on match day?

Being a little pessimistic here, but I thought I would ask.
Say I don't get tickets through USSF and have to go through FIFA.
If I submit an order requesting tickets to the 3 group games and I get picked, will I for certain get tickets to all 3 games? Or is it possible I will only get drawn for maybe only 1 game or 2?
I'm assuming phase 3 is going to work just like phase 1, so, anyone who requested non TST tickets in phase 1 and got them, can you let us know if you got exactly the number of games that you requested?
