Hi Tom, does this adress it ?

25.

Thanks for the quick response. Here's the deal. We have three "households" in the Twin Cities that are going to fax and, if need be, Fed Ex their Ticket Order Forms into US Soccer. All three meet the criteria in #25 and elsewhere in the two FAQs (from what I can see) unless faxing the three Ticket Order Forms together or sending the three in one Fed Ex package results in them being treated as one Ticket Order Form with to many households, applicants and so on.

My reading of your response is better safe than sorry and, therefore, submit each of the three Ticket Order Forms by a seperate fax and, if need be, by a seperate Fed Ex package. Let me know if I'm reading this the wrong way. Lets hope it all ends up at a pre-match bar in Germany with Charlie and the rest of us!

I've been registered and getting emails for at least 5 years, since well before the last WC, and I did not get any of this ticket info sent to me!!

I logged into my acount and all the info is still correct. Anyone have any tips on who I can ask about why this has happened and what can be done???

I had the same problem! I stopped getting emails to my main email account back in July! I've done everything to try to remedy this but nothing has worked.....

Luckily, I have 4 other email addresses that all received the TEST on the 29th...So, I should be getting 4 passwords....

I already have a USA TST-6....Should I try to get more tickets through USSF for a better chance at the Sams Army section, if there is one???

Guys, PLEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEE Read the FAQ we have spent days on developing .....
http://www.ussoccer.com/schedule/content.sps?iType=4165&icustompageid=16215

If YOU DON'T AND YOU SUBMIT A ORDER WITH ERRORS YOU RISK THE CHANCE OF NOT GETTING TICKETS TO GERMANY.
THX & Cheers.

25. If I have already been allocated tickets through FIFA or another Member Association, does that count towards the maximum quantity I am able to order?

Yes. FIFA has placed a limit to the number of tickets and matches a "household" can order. A "household," as defined by FIFA, is "one surname at one delivery address." All orders placed through FIFA’s public sales, Member Associations, or any other method will be combined by FIFA and may not exceed the maximum quantity allowed for each price level.

For price category 1, 2, or 3, a household can order a maximum of four (4) tickets for up to seven (7) matches (a total of 28 tickets all together). EXAMPLE: If you have been allocated four (4) tickets to each of the first three Group Matches (a total of 12 tickets all together) by FIFA or another Member Association, you are still eligible to place an order for four (4) tickets to the remaining four (4) matches (a total of 16 tickets all together) through U.S. Soccer.

For price category 4, a household can order a maximum of two (2) tickets for up to three (3) matches (a total of 6 tickets all together). EXAMPLE: If you have been allocated two (2) tickets to Group Match 1 and Group Match 2 (a total of 4 tickets all together) by FIFA or another Member Association, you are still eligible to place an order for two (2) tickets to one (1) of the remaining matches (Group Match 3, Round of 16, Quarter Finals, etc.) through U.S. Soccer.

PLEASE NOTE:

* If you have already been allocated tickets in price categories 1, 2, or 3, any additional tickets ordered through U.S. Soccer must be in price categories 1, 2, or 3.
* If you have already been allocated tickets in price category 4, any additional tickets ordered through U.S. Soccer must be in price category 4.
* It is not possible to apply for tickets for several matches which take place on the same day.

Can I buy tickets for just one US game?

My friends won't shell out the 3 game package... lame.To me, the answers to two of the FAQs indicate that you'll be able to select what you want to do for each game, presumably to include buying tickets for it or not. I think this sentence from FAQ 24 probably answers your question, although it's in the context of Rd. of 16 purchases: "You will be able to order specific U.S. matches using the order form provided by U.S. Soccer."
24. Will I have to order tickets for the three (3) Group Matches to be able order tickets for the Round of 16 and beyond?

No. You will be able to order specific U.S. matches using the order form provided by U.S. Soccer. There are no requirements to purchase any of the Group Matches in order to be able to purchase tickets for the Round of 16 and beyond. If you don't have to buy group round tickets to buy Rd. of 16 tickets, I can't imagine you'd have to buy all three group round tickets, either.26. Can I order two (2) tickets in price category 2 for one match and two (2) tickets in price category 1 for another?

Yes. As long as your entire order only includes requests for tickets in price category 1, 2, or 3, you may select different price categories from match to match. Based on FIFA’s sales regulations, however, price category 4 may not be combined with any other price categories for an order. If you can select different price categories from match to match, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to decide whether you're buying at all from match to match.

I already have a USA TST-6....Should I try to get more tickets through USSF for a better chance at the Sams Army section, if there is one???9. Can my friend and I submit the same order to increase our chances of obtaining tickets?

No. If a duplicate order is delivered to U.S. Soccer, the order has the potential to be double-processed (in which case any duplication in tickets will not be eligible for a refund or transfer) or rejected (due to exceeding the ticket purchase limitations set by FIFA). U.S. Soccer recommends submitting only one 2006 FIFA World Cup Ticket order.
To follow up on Big Dog's answer to this, if you've already got tickets through FIFA, I'd think that asking again for tickets through the USSF would functionally be the same as asking twice through USSF, as is precluded in question 9 above.

I think Teresa and USSF did a heck of a job putting the FAQs together, so why is not everyone reading them??

I mwan from the Fifa site.

********ing USSF. Not even a reply from after 3 emails over two weeks.

For Lieutenant and others in the same boat.....

From USSF: We've heard from
many military members abroad expressing the same concern. Unfortunately,
this is an issue we are still working on to resolve. We will definitely
have an answer before next Monday's on-sale. As you said, the best thing
they can do (and if you'll continue to encourage them to do so) is find
someone within the U.S. that they can entrust with their personal and
payment information and can submit the order form on their behalf. I'll let
you know as soon as we've reached a solution. Thanks!

Sometimes the links get buried in threads, here they are again one more time:

US Soccer WC Ticket Info:

US World Cup Ticket FAQ:
http://www.ussoccer.com/schedule/content.sps?iType=4165&icustompageid=16215

and just one additional note to the FAQ:
Good news everyone. USSF will be including a line for Sam's Army on the
final ticketing order form. It will be something like below:

Check this box if you would like your tickets in seating dedicated for
Sam's Army. U.S. Soccer does not have final control of ticket allocations from FIFA, and there is no guarantee we will be able to accommodate this request, but best efforts will be made to seat you in a designated area for Sam's Army.

Bottom line, we have not received any kind of assurance from FIFA that
we will be able to seat groups together, but we are going to do
everything we can to try and make this happen (whether that means
getting approval from them, or submitting the orders together, or
whatever) We will see if we can pull it off.

*Continue to encourage people who want to be seated with Sam's Army to sign up for Category 3 tickets.

I'm about to jump on 4 tickets to the round of 16 game in Munich.

Using www.euroteam.info for getting the tickets (about $450 each for cat. 3).

Anyone see any pitfalls purchasing the tickets this way (not through FIFA)?

Should I do now (before draw on Dec. 9th) to avoid any jump in price if draw looks good for this game (1A v/s 2B)?

Any worries about the security imprinting on the tickets going this route?

Your help/advice would be much appreciated.

Big Dog and All -

Just received a response from Teresa. It turns out that one can group separate applications as part of one fax or as part of a single Fed Ex package (assuming the applications otherwise comply with all the requirements).

Here's a quote from her e-mail:

"To answer your questions, order forms can be submitted together (whether it be via one fax transmission or two or more forms included in the same mailing envelope) without risk of your orders being voided. I do have to caution, however, that just because the orders are submitted together there is no guarantee that tickets requested on the separate order forms will be seated together. FIFA will be ultimately responsible for fulfilling orders with seat locations."

So, the three Twin City applications are being submitted together.

Ok my stupid friend has still not gotten a passport which is the only acceptable form of idenification for the ticket application. I believe I read earlier that if you purchased tickets for someone who ended up not being able to go, you could change the ticket to another person, so my question is: Would it work if I used his girlfriends information then when his slow self finally gets a passport change her tickets over to him?
Thanks!
