My old High School, where my oldest now attends, they do collections of school supplies, clothes and things like that to send over to Iraq. Quite a few people have helped out.

what i never understood is how saddam didnt manage to equip his soldiers with top of the line crap. iraq is filthy rich, but looks like something from the middle ages in most parts. if he wanted to conquer the middle east, he obviously didnt have much of a clue on how to do it. building palaces bigger then an average city obviously wasnt gonna work. if he had used his, or more correctly his countrys money, iraq would have been one helluvan oponent for anyone in a war.

anyway, nice story that just shows that people deep down are good and want to help others even though they are so different. i wonder if iraque soldiers would have done the same if it had been the other way around? not in a million years.
