that is the dumbest thing ive read in a long time. to even suggest that zidane is a better footballer then Jordan was a basketball player warrants imprisonment for life

that was pretty damn dumb, too. but you cant beat "Zidane is like Michael Jordan on steroids." if Jordan had been on steroids, he would have been a God.

I think the dumbest thing I have heard in a while was one of the comments at the bottom where some guy says Zizou is the most overrated player. Its kind of stupid to compare people from different sports because they cant play against eachother and you really cant fairly compare the world cup with the nba championship. Its that whole apples and oranges thing, but Zizou is without a doubt the best player I have watched. (Never seen anything but highlights of Pele or Maradonna)

but you saw ronaldo when he was younger didnt you? he was a much better player then zidane.

I think the dumbest thing in both of these articles was mentioning Freddy Adu in the same breath as Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen! Adu can't get a start for an MLS team

Come on ... the greatest athlete that no one has ever heard of is Vsevolod Bobrov.Hey, I never heard of him. Nice career. Too bad his time had passed when the greatest USSR NT's jumped into the world scene.
