Cool good find. Those 7406 in black look amazing. They have a sort of F50 Soleplate
but the stripes go under. Class, might have to get a pair :D

It's kind of a bummer my feet just dont work well in adidas, its cool to see an updated copa mundial though. Legends look sweet I just dislike the R.

I wonder what will go on sale at 4 central time. Cant be elite x lites there down to about 40 bucks now

Yer dunno bout da sale. u got it right bout da legends its a great colorway, that R makes it really goofy. I also noticed on the soft ground version of the 7406 they had Zidane 10 on the tongue so I guess he's changin from preds then

Sweet i didn't notice that. The R isnt THAT bad cause its just like a sign I don't know if its as bad as a fingerprint or a dragon hahaha but I still don't like it too much. Also, can anyone help me as to why when I click on the little pictures on soccer.com they won't come up for me. I've tried turning security off, cookies all allowed, etc.

Track top looks nice, but that's about it.

I can't say I like the choice of using the XTRX studs.
If they have one like the Copas then I'll think about buying a pair.

i wouldnt buy them as long as the copas exists... would be a diff story if they were k leather, still quite shocked they used calf skin for something's that supposed to represent a certain standard.... quite disappointing, unless anyone can justify the choice of calf skin?

It's a quasi-reproduction of what was around in '74. They weren't using K-leather then, that's why the calfskin. For us oldtimers, it's no big deal, even though K-leather would have been nice.

yeah i was thinking that too... but the profile of the boot reads that its has elements of 74 and technology of 06 which i felt should have included the use of k leather. well just my opinon, looks good at least :)

They do look pretty nice, but I just can't see myself buying those with Copas around.

The only advantage for me is that the tongue is foam.

Because its not trendy to wear the 7406's yet, give it a few weeks and one major player wearing them and there will be threads devoted to how calf is better than k-leather

I think they looked better in the sg pictures we saw way back when. I also don't know how much I care for the trx on them. I also don't like the stitching in the front of the boot. It's more obvious on the white boots. Just looks weird, kinda like the one line of sneakers they have with the rubbery shell on the front.

theres a reason why the f50s tear so easily, i personally do not like them
