No I'm not. I'm simply stating what I saw.
The way you stated it, it's quite clear the connection you draw btw "well-kept" (i.e. "white") parts of the burrough vs. the areas inhabited by minorities (*******-hole).
That's pretty much a blanket, ill-informed statement.

It's also true.
Not any more.
I was just there at a friend's house in Park Slope, which used to be a bad area. I ate phenomenal food at yuppie, hip international restaurants w/ a diverse clientele, had great coffee every morning. At the same time, there were a couple of taquerias (one on the uppity end of things) and bodegas frecuented by local Dominicans and Boriquas w/ a nice selection of rum. :D
In short, your perception is flat-out off.

It's frequented by a certain type of people, but it is was remade and owned by gringos. In short, your perception is flat-out off.

Only the well kept white sections. Everywhere else is a ******** hole.

Pretty selective definition of what constitutes "white" and "well-kept".
I've never eaten at a decent gringo-owned taqueria. I ate decent Mexican food in Park Slope. It wasn't gringo-owned.
The bodega where I bought Brugal rum :D was owned by a Boriqua.
If, as you state, the yuppification and beautification of Brooklyn is due to white ownership, then who the f' is "keeping" it nice and clean for you? It ain't whitey.
I'm sorry, but you're ill-informed. Why don't you brush up on racial dynamics in the Tri-state area, and how Puerto Ricans, much like Mexicans in LA, are slowly but surely moving up through the middle-class and spreading out (but still maintaining ownership and management positions w/in the City), to be replaced by Dominicans, Colombians, Ecuadoreans, and recently Mexicans.
About how the NYC Mexicans tend to have a more capital than recent arrivals in San Jose/San Francisco, hence are able to set up shop (stores w/ products geared towards Mexicans) quicker than other recent Latino arrivals.

From a recent report that I read somewhere. Mexican immigration to NYC is blamed as one of the reasons why crime rate was going up. People I've talked to from NYC have confirmed this.

Oooh, that proves it.
Link?
Or are you just reconfirming what I/we suspected all along: that you're a bigot incapable of distinguishing how your own prejudice jaundices your perspective.
"The well-kept white parts"... give me a friggin' break. Brooklyn, a diverse burrough. Whatever, bigot.

I was searching but I forgot about it. It was a week ago. The article didn't say it was Mexi's in particular. It was people I know from NYC that said it was the Mexicans. I disputed the argument because I know how law-abiding our Mexi's are in America. But a couple more people I know confirmed it.
