Daniel Cruz en Belgica?

I was browsing Belgium forum and to my surprrise:

Daniel Cruz was included in the list of Belgium league best player.

How come this guy doesn't have a cap>?

I headed to his club official website to browse the forum and the fans really have positive things to say about him:

in the beginning, fans were cool and kept distance from him.
After the game against Brugge (when he played on his best position), everybody knows he's a very valuable player for Lierse and fans accept him finally. I also heard many people say he's better than Marius Mitu because he works harder. Time will tell.

Who is he????
A prospect from a few years back (he's still only around 23 I think). Came out of the America youth system and after an youth international tournament him and Johnnier Montaño were spotted by scouts so they went off to try out for the Ajax youth squad, they kept him and let go of Montaño. However, Cruz never developed into what was expected from him and was always on the reserves. So for the last few years he has been loaned out to different clubs. Apparently he's now with a Belgian club. By the way, he has never capped for Colombia and I think he has some Argentine family history and he was waiting for Argentina to cap him. We tried to get him to play for one of our youth nt a few years back and he refused.

Daniel Cruz went to ajax and play only a couple of games with them.
He went on loan to Germinal Beerschot Antwerp and was just outstanding last season.
He moved to Lierse this season.

He's in my opinion a fantastic player(offensive midefielder) who waste his time in Belgium.
He's trying to get his belgian nationality to avoid the bosman rule problems(I think). He even said that he is willing to play for the Belgian NT.

En serio, que desastrozo que se ha desperdiciado este muchacho. Mas cuando la seleccion necesita una injeccion de creatividad el no haber por lo menos convocado a Cruz es muy triste.

Ahi esta pintado una vez mas Reinaldo Rueda. No que el man era el duro de las selecciones juveniles de Colombia??? No sabia de Volanthen?? De Cruz?? Que desperdicio, sobretodo tipos que estan jugando hace mucho en Europa. No mas comentario :(
