Thought this lil guy could do with an outing. He's been under house arrest for most of the season. So how's about a feelgood thread amongst all this apparent misery?

Let's see where this goes.. positives only!!!

Like, what are you looking forward to over the rest of the season?

For me it's

1. The kids being blooded.

2. Quite a few pieces of deadwood finally being sold on :)

3. David Jones being recalled in January.

4. The weeding out of all the glory hunting folk who attach themselves to successful clubs like succubus' but are off at the first sign of trouble. Ta Ta :)

Add stuff or thoughts on. Positive or don't bother with this thread. There's tons of negative ones if thats what gets you high.

That's probably the biggest thing I'm looking forward to this season...that and clearing out any deadwood to make room for our youngsters.
Also looking forward to the January transfer window...with lots of optimism...

Oh, and the possible return of Solskjaer.... :)

Liam Miller's loan move. :D

Thursday night football will be a novelty if we end up in the UEFA cup.

Two games against Arsenal, Liverpool at Old Trafford and City away are still games that I look forward to watching.

Rossi getting more time on the pitch and watching him develop as the season progresses.

A good old fashioned cup run where the cup might be a welcome distraction.

Wayne Rooney.

A fit Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. :)

A fit Louis Saha.

Now there's a huge positive...:D

Establishing the fact if you assemble certain types of players to play 4-4-2 attacking football and then switch it to 4-5-1 defensive football doesn't work.

Proof that the a player can play anywhere is only true when they have the ball. Off the ball movement at this level is underrated far to much by pundits.

Anticipation of who will be the next icon for United in the way Cantona & Keane was\is.

Man, will Ole really play for the team when he's all recovered? It's supposed to be within this month/next few weeks that he will be able to resume training.. Ah well. Better not think too much. It would be nice if he could get a run out.

Solskjaer's Christmas Target

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing the perfect Christmas present, a long-awaited return to the United first team.

The Norwegian has missed much of the past two seasons with a serious knee injury and has recently suffered a number of false dawns in the fight to restart his career. However, he remains positive that a return is not far away and says he is "feeling good at the moment".

"I can see my final goal and am just pushing myself towards it," Solskjaer told United magazine.

"I have learned from experience not to put a date on my return, but I'm hoping to be back playing in the first team some time around Christmas, so I obviously I hope to be in full training well before then.

"I'm just taking it one day at a time. One day it might be a bit sore, but the next day I feel great again, so you just have to take it as you go really."

Having missed so much football over the past two years his recent setback came as huge disappointment. He says that he took the blow harder than hearing the news that he'd be out for a year.

"Mentally you're thinking, 'I could have been back playing now.' But then you snap out of it and focus on a new goal, and that's all you can do, keep working towards your next target."

Ole Gunnar's next target is to leave his work in the gym behind and return to training with his team-mates. Reserve team football will follow and then he'll be ready for what he's dreamed of since first sustaining the injury.

"It'll mean everything to me to wear that red shirt again," says the Norwegian.

"That's all that matters to me. And I have seen myself playing again on many nights... but then I wake up."

Solskjaer last turned out for the Reds in 2004, as a substitute in the FA Cup final against Millwall. Everyone at United hopes his next appearance will arrive before 2005 is over.

Report by Paul Davies.

EVERYBODY, fingers crossed that nothing will happen to Ole again.

The young players getting a chance

Approaching rock-bottom, which should shake of the complancency that appears to have set it. (This is a positive. If we were getting results, even if we were playing crappy, Fergie would feel justifed in staying the course.)
