I'm thinking about getting them and i dont know if i should get them a half size small or what i normally wear. i have the copas in size 9 and they are a little big.

There is little to no stretching on the KSLs due to the Pittards leather used.
They run a bit narrow, but length is spot on. You could probably do a half size down no problem, as long as you don't have wide (EE or wider) feet.

in cleats do u want to have some room in your toe area or do u want to have just a little bit of room or what

That depends if you're still growing or not. Also it's a personal preference on how tight you like to wear your boots.

I wear a US 9.5 in Supernovas, which Adidas lists as a Euro 43 1/3. They fit me perfectly with a little bit of space and slight stretching.
When I got a 9.5 in the KSL's (from Eastbay) they were too small. I couldn't get the boot on while wearing socks. A US 9.5 in KSL are a precise Euro 43, and as Old US Keeper said there is virtually no stretching.
I sold the 9.5's on eBay and re-ordered a pair of white/red US10's (prosoccer.com, great shop)
