It really does feel like the old Manchester United spirit is gone. I never felt like United could pull a piece of magic and tie or win the game. The squad choice was questionable, the substitutions were as well. The team is playing terrible at the moment. How bad is it when our best defender is Silvestre? I am sorry I put myself through the trouble and pain of following the game through matchtracker.

Also, talk about a bad shot... I cannot personally shoot better than Park, however I was just a young club player who played defender.

No point in doing the ratings. Everyone sucks, I guess van der Sar was ok.

I couldn't agree more. We will never compete with Fletcher. He can't run our midfield. Please sell him!!
Where did the soul of the team go?

It left with Becks, Cantona, and Schmichael (sorry if spelling is wrong). And having Keane and Giggs out doesn't help.

VDS made his best save in a United shirt today and the best save I've seen from a United keeper since Schmeichel.

What else can we say that hasn't already been said on the weekend...I'm just utterly frustrated, the worse we play the more I think about it 24/7.

Where did the soul of the team go?[/QUOTE]
It got sold to Shylock, the Merchant of Tampa or perhaps Lucifer foreclosed early on the Faustian owners of the once great Red Devils

Yes, which is why I exempted him from the rating of "suck". Still looked a tad shaky on a couple corners and with the ball at his feet. But that was an excellent save that kept us close. It was for naught, but great at the time.

Well I'm glad I didn't take half a day for this.
For the first time in a long time, and I mean years, I don't feel confident about Sundays match. This sucks.
Since I try to stay positive, I guess now we just wait for a few guys to get healthy and maybe we can salvage something. Still a ton of ball to be played. That's the best I could come up with :o
