There has been alot of talk on this board about food before the game. While that is important i was wondering if you guys have anything special planned during the game in sec. 127, this is the last game of the year and the biggest so it would be cool to try something different. any big plans or ideas?

Good question, I'm gonna have to give brown a ring about that.

There should be more drums/noise making devices (not horns). Especially since the attendence might suck.

Does anyone know where to buy those big, wodden noise makers the Chivas fans bring to games? How about a cow bell. I always need more cow bell!

You can get both the ratchety sounding things and the cow bells from any music shop.
If you are looking for a deal, hit up one of those import stores that offer stuff from south america. I got one of the "clackers" for a bout $7.
Cow bells can get pricy... Should we all get together Fri night for a cow tipping party and steal one? The weather is right, you know. :D
*edit* I am going to do some shopping on Fri. Bonji, if the thingy is about $10 or so I can try to pick one up for you. If you don't get one on your own, I can PM you Fri night to let you know if I found one or not and I can give it to you at the tailgate if you like.

Yeah, I want one of those wood ratchety things. If you can get one I'll buy it. Keep it under $20.
Thanks

They are good noisemakers, but I can't believe we're copying Chivas fans! *groan*

Copying, hell....
I brought mine to opening day and almost had it taken away at the gate. I am not copying them, they were copying me for two games.
So there. :D
*edit - I forgot something*
Win, loose or draw can we try to get everyone we can to start clapping and keep clapping/making noise for at least the last two minutes of regulation.
I think it would be a great gesture to the team if we started making noise or clapping at min 88 and kept on until the wistle for regulation was blown.
Ideally I would like everyone in whatever section they sit in to give a standing ovation for those last few mins of the season in our house, but sitting and clapping/noise making is fine by me.

I think if we are winning/tied the whole stadium will follow suit. However, if we are losing, it might just be the few hardcores that actually know what the Rapids have accomplished this year. But you know 127 will do it either way!

Cool, now can all the members of Class VI get behind this?
Class VI are currently positioned throughout the stadium and can help with spreading this to their sections and help get it through the stadium.
I hope the casual fan can associate what we are doing with what they do at American Football games, they sometimes cheer for the last few mins of the last home game out of appreciation.
I offer the 88th min because getting sustained clapping for 5 mins is a hard task to accomplish. Two mins is a little more managable and we will have extra time to clap through. They will know that the game will be ending after extra time, so I hope they would have caught on by then.
But if you all want to go 5, I'm down.

Maybe the cheering at the end of the game should start at the 90th minute ... stoppage time could run like 1-4 minutes ... you'll find it hard to keep people clapping for more than 90 seconds!

For Landon:
"German Reject"
"Lannnnn-doonnnnnn" (Like the famous "Darrryllll" chant against Strawberry)
"Landon's Cheating...Nothing's changing!" (To the tune of a half-hour clock chime)
For Cobi:
"Half-a-man! Half a man!
Cobi! Cobi!"
"You're the worst Cobi/in L.A.!" (tune: "He's got the whole world in his hands")
"Those old Dreadlocks, they ain't what they used to be."
"Get the Halfling!"
also:
tune of Yellow Submarine: "We all laugh at the yellow football team..."
We might want to try a East side/west side call and response. Something like this:
East side (led by Sec. 128): "COLO!"
WestsIIIIIde!( led by Class VI agents, signs, Rapidman, whoever): "RADO!"
