Interesting that in the AP article about Gomez apologizing--he left someone off the list...

Whoops, you can't edit posts here...

Anyway, this is Gomez's statement:

"I want to apologize to my teammates, the fans, the club and Major League Soccer for my actions. What I did was wrong, and I am deeply sorry for what happened. It was a frustrating night and I let the emotions get the best of me," Gomez said in a statement released by D.C. United.

Interesting that a Pakastani Newspaper publishes an article about where the US Team will be staying in Germany.
Giving the "evil-doers" in the mountains of Pershawar a head's-up, I suppose.

Paranoia will destroy ya. Hamburg has a really large Muslim population, and an infamously militant masjid. No one would have any trouble finding out where the US will be based, whether the Pakistani news paid attention or not.

Plus it was picked up by multiple sources, they were just 1st on the list.
