Just been watchin the highlights on monday night with the action for the weekend and realised the quality of Derek Riordan.Rangers should be picking from teams like hibs and taking their quality.Same for celtic.so why not go in for Riordan when the window opens.Thought's on this post please :)

I’d go for him, Thompson and Brown! If we did not have Prso I’d go for O’Connor as well!!

yeh agrre with o'connor as well but with limited money at ibrox dont think we will be able to afford the both.So i would rather have Riordan after his weekend performance.

Havn't seen much of riordan because of where I live. But have seen a bit of rangers and they are so lacking a good finisher, a penalty box player.
Want to see more promising scottish players playing at big clubs too.

Why don't you stay the ******** away from Riordan and O'Connor for at least another year or two. Really, Hartley would be a better target.

I have watched Riordan play for a bit now and he definatly is a hot prospect. If I were him its porbably better to stay with Hibs another year atleast it couldn't hurt developmental wise. A move to the Gers would be more reasonable as they could use a consistant goal scorer which is currenlty somthing the do not posse. A move to Parkhead right now I think would be a bit disastorus at the moment as he would mostly see reserve playing time and very limited first team ball.

I want Thompson and Brown as well! I think we should leave O’Connor until Prso is finished!

I hope these players stay at Hibs, they are part of a very excitring young team there. I don't think they are ready for the pressure that goes along with being a Rangers player, plus it wouldn't be good for Scottish football if they went to Rangers.

So I am going to ask the question do you think Prso is finished or just going thorugh a dry spell? Other than the Old Firm games he has not looked like the striker of last year.

Are you kidding! He has been carrying the team at times!
I think he only has a couple of years left in him.

Actually I think it's a good point that hibs losing there best young players is bad for scottish football generally. I was thinking more along the lines of development for riordan on a personal level so as to become a better player for scotland in the future, but true, he can probably do that more effectively at hibs right now.

I reckon Riordan is good enough for Rangers now.
I’d love to see more Scottish players in the team.
I’d love to see McLeish sacked as well!

Of course Riordan is good enough for Rangers--a better question right now would be whether any Rangers are good enough for Hibs.

He'd be the first name on my teamsheet if I was the manager (which I may well be by Xmas).

Any time you decrease the amount of teams for comepeting for the chamionship its bad for the game. Just look at whats happening down south. If Hibs lost Riordan and O'Conner they would be in the thick of a relgation battle thats how much they mean to the success of the club.

Losing one or the other would not have hurt us that much, but both would be a pretty tough hit. Without either one, we'd probably be even with or just below Rangers. The additions of Sproule, Stewart, and Beuzelin have done quite a bit.
