British Columbia midfielder Keegan Ayre has started a two-week trial with Hibernian. The 17-year-old Canada youth international is also wanted by Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town, Dundee and West Ham United. (Daily Express)

Was Keegan playing in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League last year?? I'm pretty sure I saw one of his matches. I also think someone mentioned his father was a pro, NASL maybe?

I'm pretty postitive that Keegan played with Metro Ford U-18 Metro last year. He also played with the Vancouver Whitecaps Y-League team this year. Also, he played on, and off on the his highschool team. Unfortunatly, he didn't play the game that we played his school, but I've played against him before.
He's a good player, but my personal oppinion is that he is overrated.

that's roughly my opinion of the league and team he is signing with....good, but way over rated.

Keegan played with Metro Ford U-18 Metro last year.
Keegan has not played with Metro Ford since he was 14 years old. He went and played with the Burnaby Royals and has been with Columbus-Clan FC of the VMSL the past 2.5 years (he played with Columbus on permit when he was signed with Burnaby) so yes JS-11 he was indeed playing in the VMSL :D

My mistake. Was an assumption, because I've only seen him playing for Metro Ford, which is proboly why I haven't watched a Metro Ford game in a few years ;)
Last time I saw him play was in Tacoma last year, with the Whitecaps. I'm pretty dam positive about this one. I can't be wrong twice.

Yes he was with the Whitecaps U-17 team last year. Unfortunate they won their division for the Y League Championships but didn't attend the Championships in Florida? Anyone know why?
