Who are the most interesting trade targets?

I know there are other threads on this but I wanted a poll. :D :rolleyes:

I'd have to think long and hard about who we are able to pry away from their teams. Davis and Dunivant seem untouchable. I wouldn't want Beckerman or Countess. Most of the other guys are squad players I wouldn't trade our squad players away for. The criteria I use is would I rather keep Jamil Walker or bring on the other guy.

And there is no way that KC gives up on Arnaud. No way.

When discussing trade targets who is DCU willing to give up and are we talking about A, B, C or D level players? Stars for stars, starters for starters, journeymen for journeymen, developmental for developmental, etc. This list looks like jounrymen so is Dema, Carroll, Walker, etc. available? Who for who?

I actually have no interest in any players that we could realistically (i.e. Twellman for Gomez, etc.. is not realistic) get in trade. Any that we can get for what we can/should trade aren't going to solve our real needs. I think we are going to need to bring someone in from outside of MLS to fix what ails us.

Of the players listed I think Dunivant would be an upgrade to our defense. Borchers is pretty underrated, but I'm happy with Boz and Erpen in the middle for now.

For me we need to get a new keeper. Get Guzan somehow. Guzan for Quaranta and there we go.

Marvell Wynne should be next in our sights.

Even if he gets big offers from overseas, he's definitely a better risk than most of the other guys above..

I am working under the premiss that an Adu/Olsen/Kovalenko would have to be going the other way. I would not trade bench guys for bench guys. That is not really the kind of change most of us would be looking for.

My fantasy trade is Adieu to NY/NJ, Guevara and a bag of orange slices to Chivas, #1 pick to us. Even though that's not value for developing the #1 from 2 yrs. ago, I still think it's fair.

This list may be more realistic than some of the players I've seen people here name (although Arnaud is not realistic), but by making it realistic it's also not very exciting. I voted for Magee because I do think he's pretty underrated and could end up a fine forward; but really, there's nobody on this list that makes me go "ooh ooh ooh!"
