Currently operating without a manager after Burley was sacked/resigned, the latest coming out of Tynecastle involves yet more departures. Anderton is the latest to be sacked and Foulkes immediately resigned as a direct result. Hearts fans are stunned and Kickback has exploded with anti-Romanov posts. Just what the hell is going on in Gorgie and where is menace?

I think the story of Ranierri pricing himself out is BS. I think once he saw what a shirade Vlad the Mad is he was like hell no and walked out

You have to wonder what is going on in that nutters head!

If Rangers go and get Burley in as Manager it would be brilliant!

Would be a very smart move to grab him but I do not think he will be out there long so you better grab him quick. ;)

I predicted on here after Burley left that Romanov would be the next Hearts manager!

I stick by that!

:D :D :D

I think Vlad the mad is slowly killing any chance of holding onto Skacel at the end of this loan. Its to bad really was a nice change of pace to see someone else contending.

It's all part of Romanov's masterplan. The next step is when he reveals that he's a direct descendent of Anastasia (the real one, not Anna Anderson) who escaped the massacre in the Ipatiev house. After that, Putin will be ousted in a popular coup and the Romanovs will be restored to the imperial Russian throne.

It's not much crazier than what's happening at Hearts these days.

He's got some prime real estate and it's not as if he has spent much, considering most of the players are on loan and all he did was transfer the debt to his bank. ;)

I don't really see what the fuss is here. Hearts are a rich man's plaything, Romanov's throwing his weight around. Nothing controversial there. Still, it keeps the media off the spanking the Mankie Mob could get in Bratislava tonight. :o

I'm confused. Didn't 'the Mankie Mob' get spanked in Bratislava weeks ago? :p

I see the mudslinging has started. Foulkes calls Romanov a dictator (http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/heart_of_midlothian/4395230.stm).

I don't see how Fatty Foulkes is coming out of this smelling of roses (from what I've seen on a Hearts forum, the fans are behind him 100%). Was he not the one who negotiated Romanov's buying into the club, and if it goes tits up, surely he should be the one to take the flak. He can't pretend that everything is all sweetness and light when he's employed by the club, then suddenly when he's dumped, he starts telling it like it really is. If he did the same thing at the club I supported, then dared to go back as a supporter (as he claims he will do), I'd deck him!

i think that view is unfair. it's likely that romanov gave certain promises during his takeover and offer to buy the shares. who knows what he said to foulkes, but the facts differ greatly with what romanov's statement last night claimed.

Was Romanov not tarting himself about other SPL clubs (Dunfermline and Dundee spring to mind, but I'm not 100% sure, and I don't think I'm getting him mixed up with that crook Di Stefano) who wouldn't touch him with a barge pole? Yet Fatty welcomed him with open arms. And Foulkes was urging fans to buy more shares just a day before Burley was sacked (as the rotund one has now told us he was), even though he must have known then that Romanov wasn't what he was cracked up to be. Hindsight is a great thing, but surely Fatty's judgement of character must be called into question here!

Well were not talking about whose going to buy the next round of beers here. Were talking about running a business. So, if you're relying on promises made as you hire on a new exec., get them in writing, or don't be suprised when they don't come to fruition.
