New series ?

Anyway, I remember watching those from time to time as well...Not something to better the image of continental Europe in Limeyland...Or maybe...;)

Aaah, since we're dealing with nostalgia, those sweet years of 'Nulle Part Ailleurs' with José Garcia on Canal+...

Take that (http://www.dailymotion.com/search/jose%20garcia/video/42656)! :D

I'm not sure...

Antoine appears to go through different stages. Where he has long hair, beard etc. Looks new - but it was on in the early hours - so I doubt it.

I just the love those cheesy pop videos they play - fecking awesome.

NPA has or shall I say had proved a good breeding ground for French talent that obnixiated the mainstream.

We should ask Ganu what's the value of Pierre-Fanfan in meat. Hey, Ganu, what weight ?

10-15 kilos depending on the quality of the meat.

I'm amazed Glasgow could pay that.

Oh, I guess now PSG has enough raw meat to feed their barbaric supporters.

Yes. They can toss Haggis into the stands to appease the animals.

Bonjour! J'ai un question pour vous. Prepare to doubt my intelligence! :) I want to share a remix of the song "Et C'est Parti" by Nadiya with my non-French-speaking friends. I can translate it myself well enough to understand the general theme of the song, but it looks like there is some slang or just secondary meanings attached to some of the lyrics. Ex: literal translation of "Et c'est parti" would be "and it leaves." I doubt this is the intended meaning. Here's the song, and thanks in advance for humoring me.

Everybody (everybody, everybody)

Parti can also mean to go somewhere as well as to leave. You can translate it as meaning to leave, but also 'to go' or simply 'get started'.

In this sense its a double-entendre. 'Parti' in french means 'party' the political sense but also party in the other 'get to together' sense. Because the words are the same. It has two meanings. Party is being used in both the french and english comprehensions.

Sometimes, I think the noosphere does exist...I once considered posting this song for the start of this year's F1 season...

http://www.dailymotion.com/search/nadiya/video/64406

I might translate it :" And it's go !" or like you said "Let's get it started".

The young lady's new clip (http://www.nadiyaonline.com/) (click on 'tous ces mots le clip' and then 'voir le clip'. WTF ? 2 Fast 2 Underground ?

I think I've heard she was a former French 400mtrs champion, don't ask me how I know about that...Or why I retained this information ! :o

"Y'a comme un goût de démago dans la bouche de Sarko..."

There's like a demagogic taste in Sarkozy's mouth...

I'm not the one who said that (http://www.diams-lesite.com/videos/videos.php?idtrack=665). Damn, even TF1's website harbours the video. Balèse !

Get a job, Frenchies.

This time, there are lots of young criminals on the march who are there to steal and smash - this discredits the movement

nuff said. In fact there's more to say but that might fly well above your head...
