Now I think most of us agree that Ronaldo before the injury was clearly the most explosive player in the world, arguably the fastest but definitely the most explosive player being able to reach full speed faster than anyone. Obviously with the injury he is slower than before, but is he still at least in the top 3 as far as explosiveness and acceleration while in possession of the ball,? Some might be faster in a sprint but I mean specifically while in possession of the football.

The reason I ask this is because I still see him burning defenders seemingly with ease and I just finished seeing a 2minute clip that shows his still amazing acceleration. Please check this clip out and let me know your thoughts,is he still the most explosive?Top 3?Top 5?you be the judge:

Just scroll down and click download, its a very quick download and the clip is only 2minutes long but shows Ronnie's acceleration and explosiveness after the Injury.

Agreed Teso, but although I think all of those players may be faster I'm not to sure if they reach top speed as fast as Ronaldo. Have you checked the clip? I don't expect you to change your opinion nor do I want it to,I want people to give there honest opinion, I'm just wondering.

I've checked it and a Cisse one there as well. Out of them all, Bellamy is the quickest I have personally witnessed. To be honest I'm not that sure about who reaches top speed quickest. It's something I can't really say without looking at more highlights.

Fair enough,I've seen all of those players in action and all I can say is that as far as what I've seen Ronaldo is the most explosive and fastest to reach top speed.By the way I mean acceleration and explosiveness while running with possession of the ball which is more difficult. In sprint I'm sure Martins or Cisse would probably win. With that said I wouldn't mind taking a look at more highlights myself and making a more definite decision.

I've seen them all play on tv and in terms of highlights, but only Bellamy in the flesh. That's why I favour him at this point. Having watched him at close hand, you really get a feel for just how ridiculously quicker than everyone else he played against. The reason I am not making a selection is because we need to figure out some way of making a fair comparison between them all.

That makes sense, the only one of those players I have seen live is Ronaldo and it just happened to be when he burned Argentina in Brasil with those 3 great runs which ended up in 3 goals by way of PK's.

I think in short distance Ronaldo is top 3. He said it himself, he is quickest on short distances.

I would say it would be a toss up between him and henry for the most explosive player.
