Some actors will forever be tied to their most famous roles, to the point that they cannot realistically play anyone else.

Richard Thomas will ALWAYS be John-Boy Walton.
Ron Howard will ALWAYS be Richie Cunningham.

Ed O'Neill will ALWAYS be Al Bundy.

I wish I was young enough to think this.

Being a long time fan of the entire Dragnet series (dating way back to when Jack Webb played the role) I happen to like the year 2003 version a lot.

I disagree with Auriaprottu i-- I think that Ed O'Neill DOES plays a very effective Joe Friday.

Adam West is always Batman. Fred Gywnn is always Herman Munster.

And Steven Seagal is always horrible.

Or for most any actor out of the Star Trek genre.

Does anyone know how well the show is doing in the ratings?
