which are the better sides with the better quallity of football,generally-the great national teams,or the great club teams?take a look at the past to the present,and verify year by year,who are generally the better football sides-
the national teams or the club teams?

ill go with the clubs. reason is that they play together more frequently and therefore has a better overall understanding of how their teammates play. if you look at Juventus or ac milan, they would probably rack up favorably against most international teams player by player. outside of maybe brazil. and those club teams play together all year long.

Exactly. There are very few national teams that could prepare for games in anyway approaching how a club would. Hungary in the 40's and 50's tried to achieve this by concentrating all the best players into two clubs. Other than that it is very rare for international teams to have consistantly players from just a couple of clubs and achieve the level of familiarity that clubs can.

Clubs
Most national teams have some sort of obvious weakness, with very few exceptions over the course of history. That isn't a problem that occurs in the greatest club sides, because they are able to pick and choose from the very best in order to prevent that from occurring.

I was allways more impressed by the CL than the WC/EC.
