YES !

We are back on top.

I jonly could see the first half time. We dominated the game, but FSV is not the most comfortable side to play. So I am very happy about the final result.

Thanks to Ba.

Hoffenheim scares me, maybe they can do a "Kaiserslautern".

At worst i see them finishing 7 th or 8 th.

Ba,Ibisevic,Salihovic,Obasi and C.Eduardo all have a bright future.:o

I for one think it's impressive how many lifelong die hard fans turn up for their games. Those guys truely have followed their team through thick and thin in the past.

*cough*

And just how many points do you get for your "rich tradition??"

None - Braunschweig had a 4 wins in 16 months run in 2006-07, so I should know. But I don't particularily care either. There is nothing that stops me from falling in love with Barcelona (we just won again 6:1 against Atlético :D) and Inter today, so it's not as if the Hoffenheim faithful have anything I couldn't have.

To be fair on him, Bayern HAS BEEN COMPLETELY CRAP so far this season so he does need another side that's challenging at the top. :p

DSF has started putting video up on their website. Doppelpass had Hoffenheim as its topic today. http://dsf.de/#dsfchannels/Doppelpass/Video/555

what did they say?

the man himself http://dsf.de/#dsfchannels/Doppelpass/Video/553

it is just snippets of the two-hour show. Hopp is explaining his position and that he didn't invent commercialization in the Bundesliga. He is also pointing to multi-faceted aspects of the Hoffenheim project: youth soccer, female soccer, the promotion of sport in the Rhein-Neckar region, etc.

I haven't listened to it all, so I haven't heard any attacks yet.

In this programme, the DSF guys expressed indignation concerning the behaviour of some Frankfurt supporters, but didn't hesitate to present a "potpourri" of their anti-Hopp chants in sound and vision. IMO that's rather hypocritical. A small bunch of morons are rewarded with full media coverage.

the small bunch of morons are the ones everybody praises when it comes to good home and away support...
of course when they do something you dislike...all you try and distance yourselves, it's shameful!

look at this small group the only ones supporting their club! bunch of morons i tell ya!!

heres some more idiots who OBIVOUSLY didn't do well in school.

who would take out so much time to make such banners for their clubs? morons and idiots are the only words i can think of to describe such people!
things would be so much better if we could just remove all those idiots from the stadiums. i would much prefer if everybody just sat down quietly and enjoyed themselves! the way football was MEANT to be watched. the only time people should ever stand up and make a bit of noise is when yer team scores (only if they're winning of course) and when yer team actually wins, then it's alright.

anyone catch the sarcasm?
it's those same people who do more for their team than nearly everybody on this forum (exception for Doc and some others) who's singing bad things against Hopp.

proud supporter of morons

Haha, dont even bother mate.
The media need "scandals". So they make their own scandals. Thats nothing new.
Theyve never shown the great Choreos or bothered what the Fans in the stands think.
They didnt bother to report that our "Fansprecher" was attacked and bit by a lose police dog last weekend. Instead they focus on some 16 year olds who badmouth some rich guy... And since that is so incredibly evil they zoom in on it and turn up the sound...

As for Doppelpass. That used to be a great show. Way back when DSF was still a Sports-Station and hadnt turned into a 24 hour Commercial Station.
What do you need a Discussion for if the only guy who went into some of the critical points and asked some questions was shut up as soon as he started... (that one dsf reporter)
If only one side gets to state their points you may aswell call it a Hopp Propaganda Show.

Your pictures are gone so I can't comment on them. If your sarcasm is directed at me, then I wonder why your answer only faintly relates to what I actually said. (I'll leave out my comment on DSF now which doesn't seem to be the problem.)

First, I was actually making a good case for not lumping together all Frankfurt supporters that were in Mannheim. It's not in order that some media give the impression as if "the Eintracht supporters" misbehaved. That's a most unfair generalisation – which is why I spoke of "a small bunch of morons" instead.

Second, feel free to post a fervent speech in defence of traditional fan culture whenever you like, but I just don't see what this has got to do with my comment. I'm not condemning anti-Hoffenheim chants in general, there are "anti-chants" for every club in the league, and I don't see why anyone should make an exception for Hoffenheim. I'm just expecting a minimum of decency. To assume that everyone who distances himself from a certain type of slander can't possibly be a "real" fan is ridiculous.

Third, in every stadium you will find a wide spectrum of different sorts of supporters, from the truly devoted to the wannbes. Question: Are those fans who concentrate some (or even much) of their energy on decrying other people necessarily the most devoted and the loudest?

There should be a prize for the club whose fans Hopp considers at the end of the season "the worst of the league".

Thank you for this post. Most definitely repped.
