The common consensous seems to be that Hoffenheim will fall once Hopp's millions run out. I have a theoretical question though.
What if Hopp only put money into youth programs, player development programs, football schools etc. Would Hoffenheim then become a "true" powerhouse slowly. And stand the test of time?

That's what he's doing- building the youth set up.

Are you serious? Do you think they can't win their remaining games without Carlos Eduardo?

How'd they do when he was hurt?
I think they lost 2 in a row, then a big win when he returned. They lost against us, but that's cause its FC.

And I am keeping my fingers crossed for Offenbach (although I don't want Lautern to go down) & Fürth on the last 2 matchdays!

auf geht's Greuther kaempfen und siegen!
nobody in first liga (at least people i know) wants their teams to be playing Hoppenheim.
We will gladly take their place if chance allows it...

The only reason i can agree is not because i hate hoffenheim, but i have many sympathies with Mainz. I hope they make it in the final day. :-/

I think your chance is pretty low, since you must hope that Hoppenheim AND Mainz will not win their games.
I'm counting on Fürth as well, but it surely won't be easy to make the surprise.
At least Bruno Labbadia's guys can play this match without any pressure ... and this team is always unpredictable in such situations! ;) And it knows that almost whole football Germany keeps the fingers crossed for a Fürth surprise...
Auf geht's Kleeblatt, kämpfen und punkten!!!
