This will be the 5th match for Boro on FSC already.

It's about time. I've been to Lucky Bar twice this year, seen Motter there both times, and we've come away with 1 point.

Despite finally having met the legend and enjoying the game watching experience, I don't think our title chase can handle these results. If we put 'Boro in their place, you might not see me back there for an EPL game for some time, as I'm one superstitious little bastard.

I'll be at home for this one, but I'll be wearing my black Scholes kit and Ruud scarf, as we seem to need the help of the Karma gods at the moment.

I'm so happy that this game is free and is not the 7:30 game. The only problem is that I'll likely have to DVR it because my wife may have some crazy idea like actually getting out of the house and doing something before 2:30 in the afternoon.

Hasselbaink is rounding into form and whether he's partnered by Yakubu or Viduka, Boro will have a very good strike pairing... we can't afford mistakes in the back and Rio's going to have to be at his best.

Any word on whether Gary will be back for this one?

I'd love to see Richardson at LB again w/ Park on the left and Ronaldo on the right.

We've got to be mindful of Mendieta... he's looking sharper with each match and his long passes could provide trouble for our aerially difficient backline.

Gary on Manutd.com says he'll be back about mid November.

For as long as I've been on this website I've always said we have to pay boro the utmost respect. Without a doubt they are one of our bogey teams and we always have a tought time of it with them, win or lose.

They will most likely be more negative against us then they usually are by default. No Downing means no counters down the wing but they have very powerful and cunning strikers and the ball to the outside shoulder of the CB is a ball they will be looking to play all day. I'd think we'd get a draw here. For the win we're gonna have to play a damn sight better for a whole game then we have done all season or at least to a level that matches the Fulham game.

I'll have to do the same. At least the early (0500) game should be entertaining. Tottenham v Arse.

Wow that's gonna be a lot of soccer for me on Saturday. Spurs-Arse, BVB-M'Gladbach, then the United game and MLS playoffs in the evening.

Boro has been giving us a couple of tough matches the last couple of years. Won't remember when they beat us at OT. I was devastated for a month...

I hope we play like our reserves did against their reserves.

That's going to be a great day. Can I have everybody keep their fingers crossed that my wife doesn't go into labor that day (she's expecting to do so any day now). I'm quite certain the hospital doesn't have FSC...;) .

I'd love to see Richardson at LB again.

According to the epl injury report website, Gary will be out another 10 days. The good news is that Richardson appears to be ready to go. I don't know if he has the stamina yet to go the entire match, though.

Congratulations! My wife and I have had two kids in the last 26 months, so an investment in a DVR is your best bet. Most games don't get watched now until late in the evening after everyone is off to bed, but at least you don't miss many that way. Good luck holding off labor. As I have recently discovered, kids come on their own time schedule.
