If both teams were at full strength then it would be a nice matchup to look forward to. I'd like to see them meet in the World Cup.

Anelka

Has it got that bad?

Still not convinced on Jurietti being called up. And whilst we are at, seeing as Domenech can't be bothered to call up Evra, any chance of getting young Gael Clichy in the full Les Blues squad?

The question is, how many will pull out in the run up to this game?

I wish Anelka join the squad.

That is a shocker to see Anelka back in the squad. I thought he had disappeared in to the Les Bleus bottomless void.

Will Pires be next?

Clichy's story is the same as Ribéry's, seems: still needed
with the U-21.

Why isn't Phillipe Mexes called up?? I think hees amazing. And is this match going to be on TV5??? And to the CR fans, why wasnt Wanchope called up?? Hees doing alright for his club team, Al-Gharafa of Qatar. Might that be a reason he wasnt called, cuz he playes is Qatar??

We have tooooooo many strikers, Henry, Trez and Cisse are already too good, Govou and Wiltord to back em up, and Nico isn't even doing well for Fenerbace, WTF?

There was also news of Wenger telling France to rest Henry. For me, this is something of an historic match because its being played in Martinique. Only once in a blue moon does the national side get to play in the DOM's and TOM's. Given the fact that Henry comes from Martinique, you would surely see this as important not only to him but for the people of the islands who see him as an icon.

A notion lost on Wenger and the ruthless nation of club football.

I don't think so.

Eurosport are showing it in Europe.

You'll have to keep checking http://www.live-foot.com/matchs I guess..

I always thought that Henry's family hailed from Guadeloupe. He himself was born en Metropole.
