Same here. I really want to catch this game too. I might storm out of the office for this game.

Is the game at home or away?
Benayoun must score today

C'mon Hammers, pound em

A half empty Reebok stadium today.

To me, there is no reason for Teddy to be out there today. Not even on the subs bench.

Looks like we are dominating the early going according to soccernet.

No. It looks like Yossi has been rested. Or maybe he stepped aside for the mighty Dailly. :)

I must say I am a bit disappointed at the turn out tonight. Is it just Bolton or are people generally not that interested in cup games anymore?

Ahhh ********.

1-0, Bolton.

To make it worse, Borgetti gets the goal.

Well we knew what we were up against.

Bolton often play rubbish but scrape the win. That's the sort of team they are and AP should prepare for this.

All the reports say we were on top for most of the game, so it's a shame to loose especially with the Russians going out. The priority though has to be PL and a cup run in this competition could have been too much of a distraction or worse we could have lost a key player. It was good to see some younger players get a run-out and against quality opposition make a real game of it. This is a good sign for the future, I'm, just hoping the acadamy can churn out a decent right-back and striker soon. Bellion, from all I've read, caused some real problems and I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing him more at RM with Super-Benni taking Mullins place (or so we can hope).

This is the first game I've missed this year, which feels a little weired, I was out buying a $1.9 million house for 285,000 (it had some serious flood damage). NO is really crazy right now, its like another gold-rush, well as long as people come back.

UP THE HAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. where is Panic?

This may be heresy, but altho I'd have liked to see us win, I really prefer to see the team concentrate on the league, and not have any injuries; this always happens in the Cup competitions, and we can't afford any serious injuries to anyone!
I'm worried about the Liverpool game, too; they will be really under the gun to perform after losing to Fulham and C.Palace; the Hammers will have to be at their absolute best to hold them, I think. Still, I'm still optimistic that we can continue to perform well. We must get more goals tho' from the strikers.
