little early for drunk posts isn't it

It's never to early for drunken posts!

(Something about five o'clock and the world)

It's all relative... :)
My next post will be from London.
Hooray!
Anything in particular that you want me to bring back?

Six points and some great stories would do very nicely. Photos are optional but appreciated.

hung over.

A team from Chicago had won itself a championship. And it didn't require the services of Michael Jordan, Mike Ditka or Jim McMahon to do it.

Drew Barrymore wasn't around to run around the field, chased by any Hollywood producers. Stephen King wasn't around, to dial his friendly neighborhood publisher. The Cubs weren't around, to remind the champs who's really No. 1.

No, this wasn't about any of those teams these White Sox are always being compared to. This was their moment, their time, their trophy. And the second-longest championship drought in the history of professional sports was no more

But it's a good pain, yeah? ;)

Congrats! As an Orioles fan with nothing to lose and very little hope to cling to, I was rooting for you guys. That, and there are a few Cubs fans I know who are arseholes. :D

Sure thing Dan. Yeah, my cousin went to BC, so I'll be pulling for them too - sorry Bready. Actually, I'll be at the Flyers v Panthers game tonight. My buddy Wooly has a membership to "Victors Club" at the Wachovia Center, where we're going to have steak dinners before the game. Pretty highphalooten! You have to place your orders when you make your reservation, and there are no prices on the menu. I'm hoping it's no more than $60, because that's what I blocked out. I've got a huge Halloween party at my house this Saturday, and still haven't bought decorations or beer or food, or anything!

delegate! Invite lots of girls. They are always good for bringing food. Just pull the whiny single guy..."don't know there is any kind of food other than pizza" routine. And for the beer...just call a few of the guys and tell them that you've been running around all day and haven't had a chance to pick up any beer. This way they'll pick it up on the way over. They will, of course, be cheap and only get what they intend to drink, but you will be prepared and skim what you want early and hide it in the vegetable drawer in the fridge.

I am the queen of cheap. ;)

I'm going to do "I'm So Tired" from the White Album, so I'll just be wearing pajamas and a robe.

I'm hoping to videotape the performances, and I'll definitely share the link with you guys once I post them.

You've read my mind!!!! My sister and her friends are going to arrive around 6 to help me hang up decorations. Oh, and won't they just be horrified to find that I only have a few bags of chips and some M&M's. :)

As for the beer, I'm going to buy one case of something relatively nice, then let everyone else bring what they want.
