Just got back from London, traveled for about 18 hours today and i'm exhausted. Got no sleep on the plane, just nursed my hangover from staying out until 2 after the CL game. It was a great trip, but i'm happy to finally be home.

Welcome back, John. Glad to know you made it back safely....18 hours on the plane? You should have just ran back...would've been phaster ;) we look forward to stories soon :D

Maybe.. but you've given up 27.5 pts per game against a schedule that only includes one ranked appointent so far (Cal at 23rd). Not a good numbers to have before going against USC.

Alabama is giving up 9 points a game for the record.. it's hard to overrate that.

as i said, you might be surprised. The numbers were similar last year for our D. UCLA-USC is a huge game and typically brings out the best in both squads. Bush and Leinart can be held under control, after all - bruins showed that last year. and i dont mind giving up 28 ppg...as long as we keep scoring 40 :D

Good to hear you made it back safely. Post picks when you sober up.

I was at the Cal game. One of the greatest I've ever seen, but yeah, you have problems on D. Then again, so does USC, who gave up 28 to Washington (my Dad was at that one...go figure). I have a feeling this one will be 49-45, but I honestly don't know who wins. Difference might be the UCLA TE (forgot his name). Not sure USC has anyone that matches up well with him.

Yeah, flying when drunk or hungover is the worst. I stayed out until 2:30 one night and caught a plane at 6. Worst idea ever, especially when the airport is 90 minutes away in a van with no shocks. Sounds like a fun trip though. And you can take pride in causing Rick to make a drunken post! :D

Good morning. So, my laptop at home seems to have yet another problem. It crashed last night, and when I tried booting up, it came up with a mounted volume error (or something like that). I tried safe mode, and I got the listing of drivers, but then it just powered off. I don't think it's a hardware problem, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the driver listing. I'm thinking it's one of two things:

1.) iTunes crashed yesterday while my iPod was connected. I had to use the Windows utility to kill the USB connection.

2.) I installed a rootkit indentifier in reaction to the news about that Sony/BMG copy protection that installs a rootkit on your machine. It only found 2 rootkits in temporary internet files, which I deleted.

So, I'll try again when I get home, but, anyone have any thoughts?

In other news, it's Friday, and I have a lunch date with that girl Megan from the wedding on Sunday...

I'll third the sentiment on hungover while flying....absolutely miserable experience. I had an 8:30am flight from Seattle to Atlanta one time that I had to catch after staying out til 3am getting hammered. The flight attendants kept trying to offer me blankets thinking I was cold.....no, m'am....just the shakes....

my flying while hungover involves flying home from Hartford, CT after my cousins wedding. the flight left at 6 PM, yet I was stil hungover, not good! That happens when there is open bar from 3 PM to midnight, then to the strip club, then to another bar that is supposed to be closed but my cousins knew the owner so he kept it open for us until 5 AM! It's also funny when your 18 year old cousin falls asleep in the front seat of a cab in Springfield, MA when you are going back to the hotel!

Drug Deala message boards wit discussions of nearly every league around tha world. Over 500000 messages read each day but real ************ don't give a ********. Also features tha Pusha Store.

Sounds like a typical flight back from Vegas! I stayed up gambling and dancing this April then topped it off with a couple hours at the OG then a van ride atf 5:30 for a 7 AM flight. I must have stunk to high heaven...I feel terrible for whoever sat next to me!!
