thanks. I'm drugged up today. Two Aleve this morning, some Sudafed when I got to work and some Zicon every 3 hours. All with some Gatorade and Green Tea throughout the day. Nyquil tonight will knock me out. It helps that I got 9 hours of sleep last night!

Nice shot, Ian. Anders is 13mo and wide eyed at everything - A great stage! Prayers for the little one to know a long and happy life.
Sorry I've been absent, myself fellas. We're hosting a conference at St. Simon's Island next weekend and are doing all the last minute prep work: Filling packets, making name tags, etc. Grunt work, but it needs to be done.
Fortunately we've plenty of left over candy to fuel our efforts. (Who doesn't have leftover candy? Note to self: invest in Mars, Hershey...)
Dan, I finished Kingdom the other night. While I realize it would've lost some target audiences, I think they too-lightly straddled the fence between war-epic and political period piece. (Better mini-series?) What's worse, the viewers had to make assumptions behind what drove the war-mongers. I foolishly expected a little more background there. Not all bad, though, and it did well in keeping neutral on the religious angles. Is the History Channel documentary on the disc worth watching?

good points on Kingdom of Heaven. I didn't watch the documentary so I don't know, however my guess is that it is pretty interesting.
The thing that bugged me the most about the movie was that Guy and Renard were portrayed as Templars, which is completly bogus and gives the Templars more of a bad name. That and Balian wasn't even French, nor did Godfrey travel to find him and take him away from his blacksmith's job.

*tsk* Semantics!
:p
It'd be funny if someday...
*knocking*
Man opens the door. "Yes?"
"Are you Mister Ridley Scott?"
"Yes."
"The movie director?"
"Yes, that's me."
"Templars." *yanks Scott away and puts him on a cart.*

it'd be like the South Park where they try to get their money back from mel Gibson for seeing "Passion of the Christ"

Touche!
Watched the episode last night with the ethiopian kids and a Jabba-like Sally Struthers. Great stuff! "We here at the Christian Braodcast Channel need your donations so that our starcruisers can have better defense shields! Won't you help us!"
Moving from night to day has brought 40 degree temp swings here in ATL this past week: Lows in the 30's and high's in the 70's! Everyone looks ridiculous carrying their coats in the afternoon.

Lunch time, ya'll. Back in a few.
*arrives home for lunch, kisses wife.*
"Hi, hon. What's this on my plate?"
"Lunch! We have all that extra candy, soo..."
"But a Reses and Twizzler sandwich?? Between two Hershey bars?"
"I know, isn't it cute? And I didn't have to cook! Enjoy."
