Hi, I've been to Hampden Park's website, Scottish FA website and Ticketmaster and i couldn't find a way to get tix to the match. Anyone know where I can get em and more importantly, anyone know if there will be an Away Supporters section?]

Thanks

They're not on sale yet. If the US football team has an official travel seciton you'll be best looking there. Failing that, just keep checking the SFA website until they're on sale.

Why do I have visions of that part in 'Trainspotting' where the american tourist comes into the bar and asks to use the toilet...? :D

Excuse me, do you guys have a bathroom?

Reminds me of those Miller ads also. Where the fox hat.

Actually Trainspotting was set in the Edinburgh/Leith area - not Glasgow. However, there are some pretty tough parts of Glasgow.

Generally, Glasgow is a very friendly city. Americans are well received.

There will be an away end, but no idea of what capacity we will make it.

Scottish fans:
Ticket prices have been set at attractive levels, starting at just £12 for adult seats in the East and West Stands, with places in the North Stand at £15 and the South Stand for £15 and £20. Family tickets are great value at just £8 for an adult and £4 for children. Members of the Scotland Supporters Club are being sent advance ticket application forms, while the public sale of tickets is set to begin on Friday, 4 November from the usual outlets including Morrisons stores, Hampden Park and the SECC.

Incidentally, the match will also be shown live on Sky Sports as per usual.

Irvine Welsh, by the way, is a Hibee. There were parts of the film shot in both areas, but most was in Leith. Glasgow is a wonderful city of beautiful architecture and colorful people. Tourists often stick to Edinburgh, but should give Glasgow more of a look.

Edinburgh may be the proper capital but at least Glasgow is the murder capital.:D

Just received an email from U.S. Soccer regarding buying tickets. If you are a member then you can buy tickets until Monday 31st. $40 per ticket, plus $10 handling charge. So have fun for now.

When you live in Glasgow, it's not that bad, you get used to the neds, and know where to stay away from.

Bits of Glasgow are fine, but in general it's a complete dump.

I agree, and even when your in the middle of a nice bit a ten minutes walk in any direction will take you to a bad area! Although most cities are like this in fairness

Surely this chap will be able to get a ticket outside the ground on the day of the game? It's not like this is gonna be a sell-out.

I've been saying that over on the U.S board.

Anyway, all the info is on the SFA site now.
