I've watched quite a few MLS games over the year on mlsnet. I had to fight through a tiny screen and rebuffering until suddenly, in the last 1/3 of the MLS season I could watch games without rebuffering. Additionally the full screen worked well, as long as I moved the laptop a yard away.
Has anyone else noted the sudden change in quality? Has there been an explanation? I'd think if MLS made some jump in delivery that they'd trumpet this fact.
For the media watchers out there I'm curious as to the positioning MLS has on the internet delivery. It seems to me that the traditional delivery of sports isn't making much way for soccer. Can soccer embrace this medium, and have the game associated with it in the way baseball had radio?
It would be beautiful if MLS and bigsoccer could partner to deliver games with a chat attached at the bottom of the screen.
