Hi guys, I finally purchased the full version of this game. You can call me an idiot, but I'm coaching in the MLS and when I see a reserve player listed for Loan and I click on his player profile to make an offer, all I can do is offer another player or a draft pick. Is this normal? Can you only get loaned players who are on the regular team roster? Thanks!
I don't think that you can loan players from within MLS. Transfers between MLS teams have special rules. The only way to get a player from another MLS team is by trade, either draft picks and/or players. If you're dealing with any other team (including USL teams) you can buy or loan like other leagues do.
I've noticed that even if a player is in the last 6 months of his contract on another MLS team, you cannot sign him like you could a player at the end of his contract in Mexico, England, etc.
