Of the players that I saw play, it would have to be Davie Cooper. I used to watch him beat 3 defenders, find himself on his right foot, then turn round and beat them all again just to get back on his left. If the guy had been half as good with his right foot as he was with his left, he would have been a world-beater.

An honorable mention also goes to John Greig. Apart from being an inspirational captain for many years, he also scored the only goal in the first game I ever went to. It was against Morton at Ibrox in November 1973 (or possibly '74).
