I have been looking at the recently posted German stadium guides on Stadionwelt website.
The world cup stadia are detailed, my favorite is the LTU arena in Dusseldorf. Munich and Koln also look great. A great job has been done on most of the stadia. The only one I'm not sure about is Nurenberg.

Nürnberg has been merely renovated, but I find it to be comfortable despite the track. Nothing fancy but not old and decrepit.
Düsseldorf's stadium won't be used for the WC and I hate the design. It looks like an exhibition hall.
No flair at all.
I like Cologne, Hamburg and Dortmund the best!

They suck.
This is the way a soccer stadium has to look like:

Arenas are for ************** and American Football fans. I feel that it's my duty to say this, as nobody else in this thread seems to be aware of this fact :D.

Dortmund's has that intimate feel that makes you all nostalgic and warm/fuzzy inside! :D
Veltins, AOL, etc. look like NFL stadiums with those friggin walls..
Schalke should move back to the Glückauf-Kampfbahn! :D
I have to admit though.. Allianz looks very impressive (y'know. them prawn-sandwich eatin FCB fans need to be pampered! ;) )

Most Eintracht fans said it sucked :D. Of course I am way too lazy to go to away games, so I don't really care ;).
There are plans to build a modern *shudder* 35.000 seats stadiums in Braunschweig though. But at the moment there still seems to be a lack of investors.

I can't believe that Dusseldorf is not being used. Whoever made that decision deserves to be sacked!!

Are they planning an all-seater? :(

I suppose it would have some terraces, like those other new stadia. The complete plan will be announced in 3 weeks, iirc.

I don't know.. Stuttgart and Hannover are both the worst.. I love the Frankenstadion but i think it's not good for the WC.

They wanted to spread the venues around Germany and as already Cologne, Dortmund and Gelsenkrichen are in the Rhein-Ruhr region Düsseldorf was dropped. Even Mönchengladbach's Borussia Park won't be a WC venue:

Capacity: 45.000 seats
