ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this?

Thanks goes out to Mr. Vijay Setlur for his contribution today in his speech. Mr. Setlur is working along with ALFA ET INC, the organizing company for the upcoming Santos vs Sporting match at the skydome on Nov 9th. There are great seats available and also fantastic group rates for $25 per ticket. A group is a min of only 4 people. Ticketmaster.ca has all the details ready for you

The Gold Cup is an interesting proposition, if only because by 2009, all three SSS will be operating. We could have ourselves a decent little tournament between those three stadia alone.

The Women's World Cup is less surprising, it's been known that the CSA wants to host the event, and FIFA probably wants us to. The 2007 WWC will feature 16 teams, so each of Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Edmonton can host its own group, with Canada probably based out of Edmonton.

I wonder why none of the journalists present chose to incorporate this info in their stories? Suppose they had a tight limit on number of words.

I am at a loss as to why they left this out.

Maybe letter to the editor time. The 2011 Women's World Cup is an angle that needs to be talked up along with the Lynx's W League team being a tennant alongside an MLS team. Politicians like the gender equity angle.

Very true. However having said that if you put Nicole Hartrell with Richard Peddie in a meeting your gonna have her thrown out the window. I say the Lynx will be sold if Bruno is smart and then have MLSE buy out the W league rights which is couch change and take it from there. But no dual Lynx/MLSE projects. I dont want the Hartrells around in this game anymore

This doesn't sound that far fetched. Haven't they been talking about the need for additional outside investment for parts of this last season? Maybe the could keep the Lynxx around as a reserve team.

Speaking of the W-League, it would be nice to see Montreal with a team. I think the W-League has helped to create a much deeper player pool for the women's program.

Is this coming from the guy who said he worked for the Lynx? Have you finally
seen the Hartrells for what they are....poor football management?
