i may be getting blasé about juninho® free kicks, but i think govou's goal was better than juni's. it was beautiful.

Crespo's goal is better than half those available in this poll.
But I'd have to go with Raul's goal as the best.

Incredible quality goals this round. When i saw Manuel Fernandes goal i tought it was it. But then i saw Henry's goal, the ball coming from the defense, the way he stoped it and shot it curved to the goal was just amazing.. And on wednsday, Juninho, wooow! What a goal from far, far, far away!! He's the best free kick striker right now in the world.

And on wednsday, Juninho, wooow! What a goal from far, far, far away!! He's the best free kick striker right now in the world. juninho brings a new kind of excitement to football. if you compare american sports to world sports, you find that the most exciting moments are when the ball is dead: there's a lot of suspense when bonds walks up to the plate with 2 on and 2 out, or when montana called signals at 4th and goal!
set pieces are kind of the same. but when a guy has already knocked in TWENTY-ONE beauties, it really lights up a stadium. when tiago went down at 25 metres, gerland already started going nuts!

juninho starts scoring free kicks, is praised for his wonderful brazilain techniques, when beckham scores a free kick he's blasted and labeled overated and a 1 trick pony. wtf?first, i'm not sure beckham is as good at it as juni. but the fault sometimes, to reverse shakespeare, lies not in ourselves, dear cobra, but in our stars.
there is a world of difference between the british and the french press. and beckham plays for réal, he's england captain, and to be frank hasn't done a lot to help himself in terms of image. now he's a spiceboy svengali, on the hello/sun/celebdaq runway until the rest of his days. and juninho is simply a good fellow, a humble credit to a humble community, our own beloved pride and joy.

Assuncao of Real Betis runs him close........he's Brazilian as well!

I voted for Henry but Kafes for Olympiakos should get a mention. It was a beautiful chip from outside the box. I'll tell you what, Olympiakos have a pathetic defence but their attack has the ability to score spectacular goals. The problem with them is that in the CL, they let in more goals than they score.
Note to Earth: Beckham's free kicks are nowhere near the standard of Juninho's. Juninho's free-kicks are one of a kind. My favourite Juninho free-kick was from early this year when in the CL, Lyon defeated Bremen 3-0 and the third goal was a 35 metre free-kick from Juninho. It was unbelievable.

I should have included the Kafes goal. It was definitely worthy of the poll. My mistake.
I'll post a Goal of Matchday 4 poll once the matchday is over and I've seen all the goals.
